World Juniors hockey

Canada is gonna be in tough against those damn Ruskies. Should be a great game. Evgeny Malkin is such an offensive force, he'll be hard to stop but I still think Canada will pull it out cause Brent Sutter is a great juniour coach and has his team playing together.
 
Russians will be tough but we can take them.

Also what the hell was with all the Vancouver fans booing? That dirtbag Jack Johnson deserved what he got but not the others.
 
Does anybody know what happened the other night with the USA. I caught the end of a storie on the news on how the USA team got booed really bad and people were saying it wasn't normal booing of a bad hit but booing as in they hated the USA? can anyone fill me in? I know that budd from the USA put out a bad hit on our guy from canada was that the reason?
 
Yes. It wasn't just a bad hit, it was a cheap shot by an asshole who later tried to justify the action by saying "well his head didn't snap back, so it's all okay"... retard. I wish they'd got through to the finals so he could be impaled. You elbow a guy in the face after his team scores, oh, it's gonna come back to haunt you.

This will not be an easy game. However, we cruuuushed them in the pre-tourney games. It should be a good one.
 
I was supposed to help usher at one of the games here in Chilliwack... but well, I turned it down because I had a chance to go skiing instead...

oh, and canada's going to win.
 
wow im retarded and i looked on espn and what not but there isnt anything in the TV listings, what times the final playing/channel, im so out of it
 
Still was it enough to justify the all the booing? I think not. It kind of shames the whole tournament atmosphere.
 
And did anybody check out the bronze medal game? I saw the 3rd period and USA lost 4-2. Didnt even look close. And to think about all that pre-tournament hype that was going on. They werent even close to what I had imagined.
 
us took an early lead, then finland got 2 in a short period of time. then the us equalized it, and finland scored again, i stopped watching then cause i was at the bar. it was a good game for the first 2 periods, fast and full of action. i dont know if it was just my opinon, or the skill of the players, or the international ice or whatever, but those kids looked like they were freaking flying out there on the ice. it was fun to watch.

yah the canada v russia game was a pretty intense game in the first period. anyways, all over with.
