And man, the detail is amazing. Like watch the guys on the scaffolding put his arms up, and the guys on the sides, just fucking sick.
 
That was awesome man, you should definitely make it an episode type thing haha. Release a new episode every week or month.
 
First I have to say Props.. I don't do any animation so I have no idea how easy/difficult that was to do, however I do make films so I DO know that you obviously had a decent plan and executed it well.

The result was of course VERY entertaining..

Second, I want to point out something EVEN MORE AMAZING about your vid. EVERY comment has been rave and positive.. for that to happen on here is almost unthinkable so that alone should make you feel FAR more accomplished than just that A-.....

My favorite part about it is the work you did with the skis... I cant even DRAW troublemakers much less render them into 3D...

I especially like when you knock the cameraman down with the ski- that's hiralious.

I bet if you sent that to a big ski film company they'd put that as an extra on their next dvd.
 
i am very much into computer animation and im thinking of that becoming my profession, sucks tho, im only in 8th grade; i got a while to go
 
haha thanks, i've already started trying to make some Game Levels usuing the Unreal Engine 2, not really working out too good right now but when i get some instruction from teachers and such i should do a lot better. I've always been a computer "geek" with programs. I've always wanted to make a 3d Skier image, much like a little lego man
 
yo that was rediculous... i think he coulda held the grab a little longer and i think the guy ahead of him shoulda won his looked smoother. I dunno just what I thought those judges sucked. jeese

and fujitive, just stick with it, i started around 8th grade too doin player animations for halflife mods and such, glad to know what i wanna do with my life thats for sure
 
Dude, that was sick. I'm in a 3D animation class myself, so i know how hard that would have been. Awesome job!

approx 150-200 hours making it, rendering was over 1500 computer hours, split between a shitload of computers
 
that was the sickest thing i have ever seen. dear that that was amazing. thank you so much for letting my eyes be blessed
