well, i never got to finish the sound, and with my schedule now i dont have any time to, so just turn on your favorite song and check this out

Awesome! So many cool little touches. I dig Rack Focuses in CG because I see them so rarely. The bending skis, the shaking camera coming down the drop in, the little dude cheering on the scaffolding, weeeeee

The camera spinning around the spin was a bit nausiating though. How long does it take to render that sequence?
 
the sequence from the point of take off to landing, slow-mo, took 24 computers 8 hours to render....yeah it took a while
 
holy christ that was amazing....the spin cam in midair was amazing but the perfect touches were the flexing the skis and the snow flying off the takeoff. that snow looks so real.....just stunning!
 
haha yea i made that, and no, my name is anthony tripaldi but here at school everyone calls me benny for some odd reason...and i got an A- on it

good old spin to win comp. haha, oh how i jest. that was sick! i don't know how any teacher could justify giving you an A-. i'd give you an A+ just for story boarding something like that, let alone actually making it.
 
I felt like making a lame comment that's obviously a joke but this is just too awsome. Good job.
 
that was so so so dope man. one of the most impressive things I've seen on this site ever.
 
1. yeah i know i wanted to have some kind of tweaked grab but when i realized, oh yeah legos cant bend much, i went with critical since its my personal favorite.

2. i used 3d studio max 4.1 and photoshop for textures

3. yeah he throws his ski and it hits the camera guy at the end, lil sumtin i threw in about 2 hours before it was due haha

as for other works, the only other true 3d project i ever did was like 2 years ago when i made bush and kerry fight matrix style at a debate, but damn did was it not impressive, and i dont even think i have a final version of it anywhere around here
 
Amazing... I'm a freshman and we were just showed some of the projects seniors have done over the years and that was by far more impressive than any of those. So sick...
