Worker Trampled to Death at Wal-Mart on Black Friday

UPDATE: A little good news comes out of this story. It turns out the woman was treated for her being trampled and did not in fact have a miscarriage. Imagine being that kid, "honey, you almost weren't born because some douchebags decided to trample me in a consumerist riot for discounted goods on black friday"

Part of me has no sympathy for that woman.

I mean, what the FUCK are you doing in a crowd at Wal-Mart (where you know it will be crazy) while you're pregnant?

It's called responsibility, and that's fucked up. If I was that baby's dad, I don't know what I'd do.
 
I know it's harsh, but I stand by what I said. Imagine if she did have a miscarriage? What if you were the father, and you were so excited to be finally having a daughter/son, but it won't happen because your the woman was trying to get a deal on a fucking TV? Not worth it.

I'm just reiterating what everyone else in this thread is saying - people are morons, and the whole Black Friday thing is not worth it.
 
There really isn't much to make me think that the child would not grow up to be just as selfish and greedy as the rest of the trash (parents included) that showed up at that Wal-Mart.

Still, to be fair, they had no way of knowing that the situation would turn out the way it did. Nobody would have showed up if they reasonably expected there to be a fatal stampeding.
 
This store is 5 minutes from my house. It is tragic incidence which will hopefully bring a end to some of the madness that is associated with black friday. I hope walmart learns a very important lesson from this. by hyping sales, and not providing security or crowd control in a "bad" area, a innocent man lost his life.

Also, As emergency workers were trying to tend to him, they were getting pushed and shoved, That is even a sicker part of this story.

Last night around 11 I went to Wal-Mart. Since Wally World is so damn exciting I was running in and the person that just sits at the door told me to stop running...looks like new rules have been placed in Wal-Mart's all over the U.S. for the safety of our precious Wal-Mart employees
 
Its like a bunch of caged dogs kept starving by the master, and then one piece of steak is thrown into the cage, what do you think is going to happen? And its not because they are black, its because they are poor. There's a survival instinct in all of us.
 
ya i heard about that and i fell really bad fro the worker who got trampled by a bunch of people and to die in a wal mart must suck

wow...what people will do to save a few bucks kills me. that could have happened in my home town and been someone i know. that just kills me.
