Get ready to use all that snow this spring. Looks like Powdr/Woodward is planning to do some cool stuff off the Woodward brand.

Like is somewhere. Info somewhere. Copy and paste didn’t work

I didnt even know they were powdr but I guess makes sense. They prolly hold snow a lot better than PC. I mean I've seen them open in may when I was skinning alta

Should be a July 4th year for them. After the Park City oopsie John and daddy did a little restructure over there at Bird. Some sort of 51/49 deal last I heard. But will be cool to see the Woodward style utilized over there

Mineral Basin apparently. Could be cool, but also might get fumbled in classic WWPC fashion. Their Cat Ops/Park Crew is a total shit show. Can't complain about a park setup that runs well into May however.

Couldn’t agree more, considering all of the resources/space they have the setup is god awful, although slightly less bad this year. jumps are solid but all things considered, I would rather pay the same amount of money to hit a shitty fat PVC tube serviced by a rope tow on turf grass

I’d assume the PC Woodward crew helps or moves over after their area closes. Or they sub it out like they did for some initial builds at PC Woodward

Dude fr the rails are weird and they slide like shit, jumps are great but i'm not tryna take an 8 minute lift ride to hit 3 jumps. three kings supreme

They haven't rebuilt anything since January at least? At least PC has some sort of consistency when it comes to changing up features. I've seen rails in place since december too.

They're going to outsource it most-definitely. They needed to bring in someone from SPT to cut the pipe because the Zaugs brokedown a lot this season and probably needed a loaner Cat or something. Somehow they managed to get it open. Also lots of turnover behind the scenes as well.

It's SubaruFest this weekend brah!

Let's be honest here: They're going to build something shitty like their current Peace Park with no flow and a baby jumpline with a few rail features, and also park a Subaru next to it for "Branding".

I dont know, i mean the likelihood of that happening is pretty high but I could also see them come out and put some pretty cool things in. I havent looked into like at all but there would be plenty of places in mineral for some cool and flowy sections. Im being optimistic because I really dont want to make a 6 hour drive up to the bird just for it to be a down rail and a bad jump

This will also possibly mean no more hike park in the spring when the lift stops spinning, which is kind of wack. Free to the public jib park vs. another Danny Davis suckfest.

Bump. Did anyone go today? Is it sick? Planning on maybe flying out from Denver for a few days in may if I can find a cheap ticket

its alright but def not worth flying to imo nice 3 jump line and a few mid rails with a couple other fun features

it's pretty fun, I'm trying to learn how to properly set backies on it and I came very close to catching my tips today from not setting it properly.

in relation to PC, what's the park with all the green rails? the one you see all the time. it's in the top rated simon dumont vid.

Three Kings, but there's also like two other mid-level parks around the mountain, but that's the one that's most prominently featured.
