Hey im wondering if anyone has skied here before. I heard its basically a hill with a rope tow but they have a fun park. And apparently they already have some rails setup for the public. I live 50 mins away and i was wondering if its worth going for pre or post season.

That place is SO FUCKING BOOTLEG. The rails are hacked together from spare skatepark bits. If you get hurt, the owner will freak out and do anything to keep you from calling an ambulance or anything. The dudes a straight up scum bag creeper. There is no park crew, he just leaves shovels out all season for kids to build their own features. He charges stupid amounts of money for rope tow access to his shitty hill. Unless you absolutely have to get your fix and that's your only option, I would avoid it at all costs.

this.

and southington's not too good either. i'd recomend ski sundown if i had to pick a ct mountain

Southington needs to get their shit together. The park crew is all for building decent stuff, but the groomer is a dbag and won't listen to any recommendations.

i've been to woodbury once and that was the first and the last time for me. the features were kind of awkwardly setup and horribly made like they had a dfd box with a plywood surface on it with all sorts of screws and nails sticking out.

DO

NOT

GO.

do not go. you will pay out your asshole to fall on some rusty shit and get a raging case of tetanus. rod is the biggest bag on the planet, don't waste your time unless you can walk there.

haha wow i didnt think it was that bad, i know a guy who said it was decent and only 20 buck an the owner was nice

not a bad price, some cool rails, and all they do is give you shovels and you can do whatever you want with the features. pretty solid in my opinion. it's 50 minutes away from me as well and i would go back

it's open i guess... im actually very tempted to give it a second chance since it's the only place to ski near me
