Anybody been here since it opened on the 24th? i know it'd probaly just be a little streach of patchy snow, but any snow would be nice.

i went this past saturday and i didnt even go on the hill since it was so patchy, they had 2 rails set up and two jumps made out of hay, it sucked since the rain washed everything away. i will probably go next weekend if they make more snow

 
yeah im goin on saturday, we ogtta get a buncha people fromt his site to meet there on saturday and set up some rails

im from glastonbury and always lookin for a new hill. im finishin up a 10', 2 ft high rail. how do i get to Woodbury? can anyone give me directions?

I 84 through hartford and look for the signs...i don't really know but i know it's down in that part of the state....UCONN WHAT!

woodbury sucks, that dudes a stingy bastard and doesnt give you shit for your money. i guarantee he changes the '$500' prize for first place big air into like 100 bills...he dont got the scrilla for prizes like that. he just got his pants sued off too

 
woodbury is pretty bad, when ever i call to ask for conditions the always lie, i have been lied to 3 times in the past 4 weeks. the old guy who runs it seems like a fuckin crack head, and is a dick to, there prices are way too much.

 
yeah that old guy is definitely insane, and all they had for a while was a little stretch of snow with a shitty rope tow, i dont like that place and the only good thing they had were the rails

Yeah, last year when I was there the dude tried to steal my skis, he put them behind the counter, of the store.. I came inside and I asked if they took them on accident outside, and he pulled them out behind the counter, under everything... what the hell... i was so pissed, but i just laughed it at, cause that guy, and his shitty resort, was such a waste of money

i was there fr the comp, there was only like 6 skier and 3 snowboarders, but it was fun, the $ was $250 for 1st 150 2nd and 100 3rd, more people should have came, the jump was about a 6ft booter with 30ft to the landing, a great jump for CT standards, and they had cool rails, the results went like this 1st-Jay Ortiz (snowboarder semi-sponsored by burton) 2nd-Sean Michanczyk (Buddy of mine from Mt southington) 3rd- me , it was a good time aside from some injuries and the bottlegedness of the comp, but woodbury's a fun place to be

yeah i should go down there for a comp or somethin, what trick did your friend throw to get 2nd, and whatd you do to get 3rd

sean did 2 very solid tricks and stomped the landings- the first a flair/underflip thing with a lui kang, very smooth and then a d-spin 7. i did a corked/d-spin 7 and sketched the landing, and then just a large 540 safty, another friend of mine from burlington (justin gillern) was doing rodeo 5 safty's like butter, but ran into difficulties in the comp jumps, he would have won.

 
we were there yesterday. they have their big jump up which is like 25-30 feet, and then we hit a smaller jump with a softer steeper landing which you could take out anywhere from 10-25 feet. rainbow rail which no skiers ever hit, a box, a cbox, and a skatepark which a buncha boarders and a couple skiers were hitting.
