Wood rails..

I've done a few wooden rails, as well as the wooden benches at my local resort. In my exterience, if they're painted they slide better, but you gotta make sure you stay on your back edges cause you'll eat shit if you don't.
 
because it was late and there was so little snow that building 2 jumps would have been a bitch so i let my friend build it on his side.
 
Yeah. lipsliding is a bitch. luckily my buddy has let me put the kicker on my side the last two times. Afterward we always move it to his side so he can get a fair try..... the moral... Lipsliding is scary.
 
i tried sliding the tops of those benches in the town in tremblant. they defenitely peel. theres some nice ledges tho. right outside the restaurant to the right of the cabriolet, theres like a 5 kink
 
there's one at my hill and I was rubbing snow on it to make it slide better and some little snowboarder came up to me and said, and I quote "All skiiers suck unless they're good" then I laughed and him then went and sucked cause the rail was still sticky at the end
 
Seriously haha. First try when we hitting this 6 kink I slammed my nutulons on the second flat and then just straddled the rail and rid the whole thing on my unit
 
Thats like all there is round where I live so I just took the edges off my urbans, slides soo much better now.
