Womens twin tips...

My chick is looking for a pair of fat (85mm or wider under foot) twin tips. Don't say the celebrities, we're not buying line this year.

Anyone have any suggestions?
 
^they're only 80 under foot aren't they? I hear they're a little soft too. She's looking for something good for all mtn/park/pow/groomers.
 
Either would work. She would really like a womens specific ski though.

does anyone know anything about the Volkl Queen Attiva?
 
check out the salomon guns. its not a women's specific ski, but its super lightweight, wide enough to handle soft snow, but still carves a decent turn too.
 
I never knew that 4shizzle was the representative of all freeskiers in terms of boycotting line
 
i'm telling ya, put her on the guns. how tall is she? if she is an average sized girl, 165 guns would work out rather well.
 
dude, i'm not boycotting line. We're just looking for other options. She loves the Celebrities AND the Shadows. My name is 4skizzle not 4shizzle.
 
I demo some out at hood- theyre alright, but they chatter when u even start to go fast, and i broke a pair of the atomics... overall, there r much better skis out there this season
 
i dunno man... the lines sound real nice... if i had the money to throw around i would ride a pair just for fun... but yea i don't have money, but i dunno what else is really out there if ur looking for a girls ski that is pretty wide other than the lines
 
I think the actual skis are made by Dynastar, cause ROxy is Quiksilver, and QUiksilver owns Rossi/Dynastar
 
im not positive, but im pretty sure the only women specific ski over 85 is the celebrity, and if ur not buyin line, youll have to go with a ski that not only for people with vaginas.
 
no lines? cause the cronic wide might of work, but the fujatives might also work, or 1080 foils. PE's might be too stiff but there a sick ski.
 
There's always the k2 phat luv. Approximately 95mm underfoot. I don't know if it is a true twin, but the girls I know who've ridden 'em say they're pretty damn good.
 
Thanks for everyones input. We picked up skis last night. I got the 185 arv she picked up the 159 Missdemeanor. She's going to use the k2's until Jan/Feb when it starts dumping and maybe pick up some celebrities then for the deep and steep.
