not really. the chick who won had some steeze. sure, she may have only spun two 3's and an ungrabbed 7, but i thought the spin to win hype was over? maybe not on par with women's skiing, but still not a joke.
 
no dude that 7 was spin to win as far as women are concerned. She didn't even try to grab, hell she didn't he try to stay in a nice tucked position or anything she flailed full on. That was spin to win and their spin to win is still stuck at 7. the majority of the girls had at least one straight air in their run, I didn't see one person do a single trick on the rails it was 5050 after 5050 (a couple girls did boardslides on the last flat box OMG). Even my mom said it was horrible
 
yeah in run two the leader at the time did a straight air on the last jump and they were hyping it up like she should be improving her run from before. how in the world can you straight air the last jump. but the girl that won deserved it. that 7 was pretty cool. especially off an 80 foot jump. pretty big.

Regardless of what event or what girls you are talking about, there are some girl snowboarders that kill it. Hell, Natasha Zurek has been doing all 4 720s, grabbed, for years.
It's easy to criticize from the couch, but exactly what are you trying to achieve by doing so? Make yourself feel superior to some girls? Congratulations, very proud of you.
 
yes it is a sad sight watching xgames slopestyle snowboard and dew tour, etc its just sad how much girls suck like its not even close to men at all they are terrible and are worse than many amature snowboarders they have the potential to throw much more i dont c why they cant i mean there body has some to do with it but not that much? some girls do throw down tho but for the most part they arent good
 
sorry for double post, but I meant to say there are unsponsored girls from summit that could have won that comp...I'm really tired....
 
Yesterday on espn classic they were showing old womens snowboarding halfpipe, hilarious. A 360 halfway up the wall was the final trick of the winning run, rofl
 
You have to appreciate the fact that Jenny Jones is from England. The girls may not go as big as the guys, but winning an international snowboard comp when you live in a country with no mountains and no snow is pretty impressive, spin to win or not.
