Women's ski recommendations

hi hi

sooo i'm kinda going to be a noob at skiing this winter.

i've been snowboarding for about 8 years now, and i want to try something different. i've skied a few times before, picked it up pretty quickly. Now i want to try riding a little bit of park this winter on skis, but i'm clueless as to what kind of skis/bindings i should get.

i'm 5'2", 110 lbs.

any recommendations?

i probably won't try riding park until the second half of the season, so i want something that'll be ok for me to learn on.

as for boots, i think i'm just going to rent for now. can't afford to buy 'em.

i still plan on snowboarding this winter too, probably splitting my time between the one and two planks.

i have the armada arw and i love them!!! they work great in and out of the park. my mom has the shadows and loves them. she teaches in them. how much you looking to spend?

are you looking for the arw in a 151 or 161? b/c if you want the 151. if you're 5'2" that puts you at about 157.7 cm. so depends on preference as to whether you want a ski that hits at about your forhead or so or a ski that's a tad taller than you.

if you wanted the 151 though, evogear has it for 235 shipped.

wow that is a great deal!

if your just startign out on skiing the 151 will work out good. im 5ft and i have the 151 and they are just to the top of my head....so they should work good for you!

i found the shadows on amazon for $250. they're 157s.

yay, nay?

i've been told by some guy friends who ski that i should go for at least 160cm for size

binding help? please?

my gf loves her ARW's, I have seen lots of girls on fujatives and AR6's as well. you can find those for good prices and they would be great for your size.
