Honestly, how many times is freeskier going to run this article? Every year they come out with the "10 best woman of freeskiing" and its the same damn women and the same damn article. Come on guys I dont pay you 12 dollars a year to write the same articles over and over, actually I dont pay you at all, I just get free subscriptions..but thats besides the point. Isnt anyone else sick of these articles? And this year they didnt even have any bathing suit shots.

Also the layout of Freeskier sucks, honestly the article on mark abma in Alaska had the fucking cheesy graphics and borders I have every seen. Same goes for the rest of the mag, take a clue from powder guys. All and all I thought the first issue of freeskier this year was one of the worst ever, who else agrees with me?

 
stop complaining, if you dont like it go buy powder, you shouldnt have anything to say cause you get it for free...

um, my only complaint is that the regular pictures of the girls weren't good. The pic of sarah burke makes her look like some belhemic girl about ready to throw up. They should have been like they were in past years. The finish article was really cool though. They should put the epics back at the end. I don't know why mags are doing that. I always liked looking forward to seeing the pics as I read the mag. I wish it was a little longer though. I read it too fast. But freeskier is a good mag. I still really like it.

I don't deny there are bad things in the US right now, hell, 51% of the country to be exact. But god damnit, our country being fat is NOT a problem. I do't give a shit how fat people are. hell, fat kids are harder to kidnap, that means our country is safer.

to you boys complaining about the pictures... this women of freeskiing article was done very tastefully. if you want to see pics of half naked girls, go pick up some other mag. pics of half naked girls is not skiing. if you are going to have beef with something about that article, have beef with quality of writing. and, even that can't be argued with too much as it was mostly the athletes writing about each other.

I thought the article was pretty good. I like how a bunch of the blurbs about the skiers were written by other skiers. and the trip kink michelle is doing is comparable to the one tanner is doing on page 66 (sure, tanner is probably sliding it unnat, but both are still so dope), which I thought was super dope.

The point isnt that I got it for free. The point is freeskier runs the same damn articles every year. Also I was joking when I commented about the nude shots.

Freeskier runs the same damn articles every year, honestly this is the third "women of freeskiing" article they have ran. Come on Ethan!! Write something worthwhile over there.

Other than the lame articles I thought the layout was pretty hideous too, the women of freeskiing article had paint splotches all over the pages....OOOO so artsy, and again the abma in AK article borders were just plain ugly. Green dots? Come on thats the best we can come up with.

 
I also feel that until women are at least "comparable" to mens skiing ability we should stop writing articles on them all together. There is no excuse for women being behind as far as men as they are.

Ingrid said in powder that women are more selective in their lines and and are more detail oriented(or something along those lines) well men dont think and just huck 40 footers to rocks. Other than Jamie Pierre men are just as calculated as anyone else, women just need to get some balls and step it up there is no excuse. Skiing park doesnt not take a tremendous amount of strength that would give men the advantage. Women are just as good of gymnasts so why are they such horrible skiers?

skiiing mags always leave me with wanting more and leave me short.. idk when i read tws snowboaring or even sk8boarding i gett too much so it lasts me a whille most skiign mags last me like 4 hrs and im sick of it. they are kinda lame

the point that he was trying to make is that they used the same article 3 times. The only reason no one says anything about it is because it's about women. whoop-de-do! if i wanted porn i'd buy penthouse. I'm sure if they wrote 3 articles on how much steele spence rocks it would be a different story.

it is kinda over done, i think its sick that females are doing the sport but just cuz you can do a 7 doesnt mean you should be pro. i think girls should have to prove themselves as well

Why do girls need to be in a bathing suit for an article on skiing? they are not selling their bodies they are promting their skiing abilitlies, they could be in sweat pants and it would not matter cause it is about skiing, not selling yourself!!!!!!

 
haha, i could ski that spine, that's not impressive at all, no companies would even think of sponsering me and i could ski almost every line that those women ski, and they ski every day

JAMIE BURGE DOMINATED ALL THE BIG MOUNTAIN SKIERS THIS YEAR IN COMPETITIONS (I.E. KIRKWOOD EXTREMES & VERBIER) AND WAS NOT LISTED.

I ENJOY FREESKIER, BUT WAS DISSAPOINTED WHEN PODIUM/SKILLS DIDN'T MAKE UP WHO'S IS THE BEST.

the only thing that miffed me was the fact that last year, they said that they would be filling the gap that freeze left. apparently that meant make a smaller magazine. pretty shameful, but thank god for ski time
