Women at x-games

So why have we yet to get women's slope at x?

i know before there either we not enough women involved or not yet advanced enough to hit the course, but now that argument is no longer feasible.
 
probably not enough people that would watch the event. it's all based on how popular it is to viewers watching it because thats how they make the money.
 
umm, honestly, i think it is because there are not enough girls on the level you need to be at to hit those jumps and throw down. which is fine. i wouldn't do that shit either.
 
they just got the right to vote AND the right to be on the slopes, i think they should take it a little more slowly before trying to compete in the X-games.
 
Because woman suck... and there's no denying that. I don't want to sound mean about it, but they are really really far behind men and I think they would have trouble designing a course that fits woman skiers and male skiers, especially with gap jumps. Of course there are some exceptions for girls (the only one I can think of is Kaya Turski, one of like 3 girls I respect as sad as that sounds).

But yeah, women dont risk as much as guys, I dunno if its because of center of gravity or something or just because they are afraid to go big.

 
yeah . officially , to the sacrifice of my penis . i could throw down a pipe run better than the one that sarah burke did to win X (no claim here). sadly its not a sacrifice im willing to make just yet.

did you see the women snowboarding slopestyle. Jesus christ apart from like 2 chicks . the biggest trick of all the other competitor was 1 540 . and 90 % of the women did at least 2 straight airs on jumps.

yeah women suck more than men. but they should still show it in the x-games. Its good to see where they are at.

There is a girl at Breck, (don't know her name just see her all the time) that does sw 9s...she could do that course easily and she isn't even pro...
 
didnt mean to sound like a dick. its sick that there are girls out there in the sport. i just dont think that they would want to spend the money on it because not as many people would want to watch it. yeah some girls would hit the big sides and some wouldnt but maybe in a few years the replacement of x games will have it. until then, we should work getting pipe televised first.
 
I would watch it, but not everyone else. The x games are mostly for the type of people that watch nascar and they really would not appreciate the talent and skill those girls have.
 
That's like asking why womens basketball, lacrosse, softball or any other womens sport isn't aired. Because no one would watch it, they/we are not as athleticallly inclined like men. Its not fun to watch bad sports.

There was talk of it happening this year, but obviously it did not. Sarah was pushing very hard for it but it got cut out at the last minute.
 
im sure you hit the gap jump too... annnd thats why it wouldnt be in the x games cause 9/10's of the girls would be to afraid to hit some of the jumps annnnd nothing would get thrown down except straight airs and 360's not very fun to watch.
 
it's weird that they have pipe and not slopesyle for women in the x-games since pipe takes more strength and stamina i think. I get tired in the pipe from boosting every 5 seconds but on a slopestyle course you have to have very little strength to throw down, you just have to use the course.
 
As much as thats true girls don't really throw down but still I think women in the sport need a little more support, we don't go as big but i sure am trying my hardest to progress I'm out there giving it my all everyday and that maybe deserves a lil more women's x games spot or a womens skiing anything
