PIERCE — A six-foot, 300-pound woman and a 15-year-old boy face sexual
battery charges after they allegedly raped a retarded man.
According to police, Ranetta Nicole Burr, 26, and the Fort Pierce
teen admitted they would not let the 20-year-old man leave Burr's
bedroom after both allegedly performed sex acts on him.

The man told police he was walking in the area of 31st Street and
Avenue G late Wednesday night when he came across Burr and the teen.
The three then ended up at Burr's apartment at 3105 N. Avenue G, according to a police report.
Both Burr and the teen told police that the man performed a sex act
on the teen and that Burr used a sex toy on the man. They also said
that the man had asked them to stop some of the acts during the
incident, according to police.
Toward the end of the incident, the teen ordered the man not to
leave Burr's bedroom, but told police he was only joking. Burr said the
teen threatened to shoot the man if he ever told anybody what went on,
according to the report.
Police began investigating the allegations after the man went to
Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, where his guardian
told officers the man was "mildly mentally retarded."
Burr and the teen were arrested Thursday. Burr was being held in the St. Lucie County jail on Friday in lieu of $300,000 bail.
