who else hates this demon of a video player...quicktime is far supior to it. Why the hell does it exist!

yes, WMV is bad... any format you can't recover data from is a shitty idea.

well you can put them in premiere. At least the premiere I have. They're also super small files for the quality. I like quicktime for streaming better and I like being able to go frame by frame in the player and i like holding fast forward and playing it with chipmunk voices. You can't full screen it though. It's stupid. So in the end I'm gonna say that I like windows better.

yea even though i cant upload the stuff t opremiere, i still usually use the player to watch stuff, unless for sum reason it does not work

WMV is fucking shit, now it doesen't work half of the time on my comp (maybe that's partly because my comp's shitty)... quicktime is superior, but, sadly, half of the time it isnt available. Even realplayer one is better.

the only reason why i upload as wmv is because if i want to export with quiktime, it only gives me one compress setting, and its really shitty looking.

other than that, quiktime makes my life easier, on downloading/watching basis
