WLE's SR 126 "butter knife"

My homie got some 175 pettitors centermounted. Stupid ski but it is so much fun on resorr pow days getting leftovers and sidehits. Extra fun when the park is snowed down. Told him to take them out on the slush but he didn’t listen to me

I'm more curious to see how these ski than I have been about any other ski I can remember. Looks so much like a board on his feet.

I know a place where I can grab some fully rockered, 118 underfoots for $200 in a 174. I had this exact same idea as discussed in this video.“Agile powder skis for trees and technical stuff”. But I got too scared that 174 was too short for a 118 so I passed.

Same

if they don’t make a killer ltd apostle I won’t be buying a new rmu this year and last years ts were ass

My homie had his base letter fall out on his apostle lites. He warrantied them in november and they didn't send him skis until April. He got the normal apostles cause it's all they had, but they are surprisingly light and pretty stiff. I'd definitely consider buying if I didn't watch him battle to get skis for the entire season.

So my tech screwed my yles mounting them last year, put wrong bindings on, had like 4 pairs of mine at once to mount, made a call to his buddy at rmu, they sent us an out of stock yle next day, same ski.

I’ve never had to warranty anything through them, but I got a friend with a good friend in there so I’m not concerned personally, and my apostles have been bullet proof, probably my favorite ski, would def be if I had the metal version.

That's great to hear, changes my mind a good bit. I think the trouble was due to covid troubles. They look like super versatile skis

Very versatile, the wood 98 is a lil stiff to butter but def doable, great pop, lot of taper but holds an edge on hard to about 50/55, releases easier than anything I’ve skied except the yle, it’s damp up to about 40 on hard snow, floats and smears pow real well, bowls, trees, moguls it’s great, good jump ski too a , lil washy landing on firmer snow, it’s my dd east or west it’s always in the box. Has handled snow sharks, tree taps, banging around glades and edges rubbing ts basically unscathed.
