Hey guys, I was just wondering if any of you had a link to an article about him not writing his own songs. Im pretty sure I saw it in one of the threads about him but I searched to no avail.

Not hating or loving, just wanted to show a friend the article. Thanks in advance!

Yes, and like a lot of his songs it's terrible.

Basically, like a few other rappers, he says he doesn't write things down. That doesn't mean all his songs are freestyles. Obviously he thinks of a bunch of stuff and goes and records it. There was another rapper who was pretty famous for doing that too, perhaps Biggie? I forget.

Again, not defending Lil Waynes music at all, although I do think some of it is okay in moderately small doses. Just stating what he does.
 
i really feel like wiz spits his own verses, they would have more substance if he didn't. i do know he does not write them down though, like weezy.

finding a shitty freestyle doesnt show much though, even b.i.g. and pac had their ups and downs
 
i know dumbass thats why i quoted that weezy line. hes still a fucking terrible rapper whether he writes stuff down or not. wiz is terrible too, no flow. both were much better in their early days.
