When I read the title of this thread, I thought "the Hospital" was some amateur skiporn flick.

But after furthur investigation, I wish thee a speedy recovery.

Why is everyone getting injured? Ski accidents, army accidents.. everyone i know is ending up in the freaking hospital! :(

fuck, witt, i know where you comin from. i broke 8 ribs last year, collapsed lung, and lacerated liver. trust me, it sucks. you have a tube in you? i had a fucking tube in me to keep my lung going, and to pump out the blood
 
yea, he's got a tube. they've tried taking it out 3 times but everytime it's deflated again. they thought he was set after this last time, so they let him out...but i guess not. poor witt.
 
If any doctor mess up my favorite troll woman of all time, I,ll be really pissed and you can be sure I'll go trhow gummy bears against this doctor car if I get out of my lazy ass to go on a trip to the stastes again!!!

so im out now..after 8 days of not so fun times..at one point i had 4 iv's, o2 runnin through my nose,a big ass tube running through my cracked ribs into my chest cavity to suck the air out and keep my lung up..they tried taking me off the suction thing 3 times, but everytime my lung collapsed again..finally they sent me home and it happened again, so i went back in yet again...the concensus now is that my lung will never fully reinflate, and i will forever live with what they call a numothorax, which is a partially collapsed lung...yay!furthermore i cant fly or go to high elevations, which means no film trip to WY or CO in jan, and no us open for me...but at least im ok and i will be skiing again come feb'ish..thanks for the support yall..i was stoked to read this after sitting in the hospital for over a week
 
holy shit man, that is not good, but at least you are in good spirits and are going to be able to ski in places. as long as your happy, it's all that matters!
 
Witt i feel so bad for you having to have this happen to you, i seriously am upset over this that im gonna fast for a week and hold a prayer group in the terrain park...haha yea no im not going to do that but yo i hope you get better soon so that you can remember me when you sign on the next time lol

same thing happened to me man. they took it out 2 times and it collapsed again both times. luckily my lung is fully back in commission again. i had 4 iv's and oygen for 10 days man, i know it sucks the ass.did they have you on like morphine drips? i had a drip of morphine every 10 minutes and i was basically numb the whole 10 days, plus i got vicodin for when i got home. anyways, i hope you have a good recovery and shit, it will be faster than you think.
 
This really sucks for Witt. He was set to kill it this year. Even though you can't fly, you can still drive out and stay at the slopeside team house as long as you need.
 
yea i had the same deal..and now im on percaset or however you spell it, and thats doin the trick alright...the meds fuck you up though, i want to get off them as fast as possible..i didnt shit for 6 days when i went in there because the morphine pretty much stops everything..that was interesting
 
I took percocet once after a surgery and my parents had to call 911 after they found me curled up in a ball, uncioncious, making gurgling noises... that shit is nasty..
 
percocet is weak hydrocodone. that sucks you curled up over that though..guess you should stay away from painkillers. WITT GET BETTER MAN. wanted to see you in the hospital. we gotta ride soon kid.
 
after my wrist surgery i got percocet and had an allergic reaction...so i got some morphine, and they prescribed jacked up vicodine i think...twas interesting.

hope your lung get better amigo
