Is this mountain worth buying a seasons pass to. I got to WVU and I need to ski someone who is from the area please tell me

here is the deal with wisp. i went to WVU as well. Do not buy a pass..You can easily ride the rope tow that provides you with access to the park. and you can usaully get up the lift with a little gift for the liftie or just sqeeking by. but if you want to buy a pass its probably cheap and its kinda fun to rally the place when your suppossed to be in class.. Snnowshoe has a better park but they groom everything. When there is snow you can usually find little stashes at wisp. The lift that is the middle of the place gives you the best chance for turns the run under the lift called "Demon drop" is never open but you can poach it and no one cares. this is where you will find your best "pow turns" overall i had more fun riding at wisp than snowshoe. i would definately say that you should plan on going there alot. Another thing they usually ran a deal on wednsday, when you brought in a reciept from casa de amicci the pizza place on high. you got a like 5 dollar lift ticket.

def buy a pass to Wisp

its close and worthwhile

we have solid jumps and a bunch a smooth well kept rails

it's for sure a fun place to ride when you get a chance-

ive never been to wisp but I recommend Timblerline over snowshoe. Snowshoe is not bad and they have a decent park but it is overpriced seeing that it is an intrawest resort. Timberline is sick and unknown and cheap.

Showshoe is the most overpriced pile of shit in the entire world. Dont go there. I can fly out west and ski for a week cheaper than I can to drive from DC to Snowshoe and ski for an extended weekend.

Anyways, how is Wisp? Is it fun? Does it get super crowded on weekends? What is the park like when its setup and is the terrain any fun in general?

Well I dunno man I lived in WV for 5 years and I'd have to say snowshoe is prolly the best resort. I worked there/ lived there for two winters so I didnt have to deal with the overpriced bullshit. Lift lines are fucking horrendous on the weekends but tolerable during the week. The snow sucks, the terrain sucks, the park is tolerable. Move out west.

wisp aint that bad, its like 40 minutes maybe less from wvu, i dont go there but my bro does. its a fuckin rockin place though. but its a fun place got soe nice rails and decent jumps occasionally. the kids there can rip and i think they added new shit so

I personally really like Snowshoe and I think they have some great terrain...I don't know a ton about their park though as I usually go there late/early season when pa's resorts are not open
