Wisdom Teeth

mine werent that bad, came out of it in a haze and all i really remember watching House. the next day was a little bit rough, but after that everything was good and i rode out the rest of my vicodin scrip
 
it's not as bad as people make it bro. but it depends how many you are getting taken out and if they are impacted(slanted). thankfully mine were all straight and i had 3 taken out. i did not go under, i just had freezing. in my opinion whoever goes under is pretty much a cock monger. but be ready for lots of bleeding hence why they give you lots gauze. be very careful on the foods you choose, you do not want to get than shit infected because then youre going to be in lots of pain and blood will be the only thing you will taste. drink lots of fluids,ice cream really helps, soup but only the liquid. i never realized how big wisdom teeth are, they are prety big cocksuckers.
 
Are they putting you all the way out? They didn't when i got mine out.. i was in PAIN for 3 days straight.. make sure you don't eat anything that is hard to chew for sure.
 
what you SHOULD do: record a video of yourself after they pull 'em and give you the crazy gas, and get millions of views on youtube being a total dumbass
 
Make sure you fill out the prescription they give you for painkillers, and try not to call your dentist Mein Fuhrer, and salute him on your way out.
 
Tell your dentist that you want the good stuff when he puts you under. And make sure to fuck with him when you're coming out of anesthesia; you can get away with saying anything so take advantage of it.

And get Vicodin. And then sell them to me I mean what??
 
4 of em out, 2 had dry sockets.

Not that bad. The key for wisdom teeth is ICE! if you do the 20 on 20 off religiously (not actually religiously gnatron) then you'll be out in no time.
 
why would you not want to be put out for wisdom teeth. Are you trying to prove something? Because our medicine is good enough to make it so you don't feel or remember any of it. Congratulations, your dumber than everyone else in this thread.
 
Eh getting them out isn't that bad. You just can't eat normal food/ eat normally for a few days, you just have to make sure you don't get shit stuck in the holes. My mommy wouldn't let me ski the day after :( but I didn't put up with that 2 days after.
 
ya its not that bad i have taken 2 percocets since like 10am and i feel fine, almost no pain at all right now. bong tokes through the nose is hard.

I was put under when I got my wisdom teeth out (4 of them, they were impacted) but after the surgery I didn't use any painkillers because they make me woozey. I just took 3 ibuprofen every 4 hours. People have different pain tolerances
 
you use tea bags if its still bleeding pretty bad but you wanna warp the tea bag in some gauze first.

getting mine out tomorrow morning. kinda nervous about being sedated but at the same time one of them is surfacing and it hurts like shit so i want them out. probably gonna be mad nervous until i get in there then just sac up and do it.
 
going under isn't that bad. It is just really weird waking up after and having no idea what is going on or where you are. I had surgery though not my wisdom teeth out
 
Had jaw surgery + wisdom teeth removed over the summer, worst 6 weeks of my life. But after a few days you will be good 2 go.
 
Dude getting your wisdom teeth out is awesome you get to lay in bed and take drugs for a week. And you can like, take way over the dosage, and feel really awesome, and then go back to your dentist and ask for more, and they'll give it to you.
I wouldn't trip anyway I never had any pain and I was fine in like 2 days and I smoked and drank and did everything you aren't supposed to.
 
I get mine taken out on the Monday of the thanksgiving holiday and all 4 of my teeth are impacted. Which BLOWS. Hopefully I'll be able to eat by thanksgiving. :\
 
its not that bad. you just have holes in your mouth for around 2 weeks. its gross when food gets stuck in there, but you get to eat a lot of ice cream and jello.
 
DO NOT use a straw after having them taken out; the first thing I did after I got mine pulled was drunkenly order my father to take me to the nearest drive thru to get a giant milk shilk (I was brutally hungry after fasting); the suction from the straw increases bleeding and the chance of getting dry socket. yes it sucks.
 
i remember telling my mom i wanted pudding cups and she thought i was joking and still out of it.

no. no i wasnt. i wanted pudding.

but really its not bad. i had macaroni and cheese the first night and barbeque chicken the second. it not the food, its how careful you are chewing it. if you just just it with your front teeth and dont hit the back ones, youre set.
 
not so bad. yesterday i went home after the surgery and took some naps while listening to the new cudi album and having insane daydreams. some friends came over and hung out with me and my mom has been giving me double doses of lortab and chicken soup and pudding to eat. definitely sweet to have gotten it over with though the dentists office was really relaxing and i was cracking jokes to the hot assistants.
 
dont smoke dont do coke and dont eat PK's on an empty stomache. sleep lots, basically just sleep till there better don't try to do anything.

You probably won't be able to eat anything but lukewarm mashed potatoes by thursday. Other really soft things too.

Impacted is easier for them to take out and easier to heal i think, so you'll probably be eating normally by that sunday or monday.
 
I have enough room in my mouth for all of mine to come in and they are all coming in straight. No surgery for me :)
 
I just remembered this and had to bump this.I got my wisdom teeth out about a year ago. heres my story.They over sedated me so the first thing i remember is waking up in the passengers seat of my moms car. I opened the door and threw up. Unfortunately, the car was parked in a supermarket parking lot so i threw up blood and water directly onto the car next to us with a woman sitting inside in the drivers seat. i closed the door and blacked out. not sure what happened after that or why my mom felt it would be a good idea to stop at the supermarket on the way back from surgery, to fill my prescription maybe?
 
^haha i dont remeber any of it, but i thought it would be fun to record it with my cell phone....i had an audio bit of my mom on the phone talking with my dad, when i interject "tell dad i'm high as balls" pause "honey, jim wants you to know hes high as balls right now"
 
oh, one more thing. I was numb for four days so i didnt have to take any of the 25 extra strength vicodin i had. Yay for selling schedule 3 drugs!
