Wisdom teeth

exspect to tell me cause i am too and no one really explains it they just say oh it hurt so bad but they gave me good drugs
 
I seriously felt no pain and wasn't given anything in regards to pain medications. I got larger than average pills of Ibuprofen and that's it. Most people get vicodin and all that good stuff. Don't worry too much about it, it's not a big deal at all.
 
i was't susppose to have them either but some how they misteriously formed in like two years and are now starting to come out
 
Haha Just got mine pulled yesterday. Came all the way to Atlanta to get them pulled because I can get it done free here. aaaaaaaand it sucks
 
After you get them out and the anesthesia wears off, you will feel the most pain but give it a few hours and just pop the pain meds and they'lll only feel sore. Usually everymornign will be the worst part of the day in terms of pain just because the meds wear off once you wake up
 
my experience was awful. they gave me and iv and knocked me totally out so they used less anesthesia in my mouth. i woke up from the iv when they were crushing my teeth into tiny pieces to get them out. OUCH. then it was a 2 hour car ride home which was full of blooding oozing from my mouth and a bad headache. then at home i was in a great mood from the meds but i still was oozing blood. over th next couple days my mouth hurt really bad and the stiches came out early so i had to go get them put back in. the worst part though is not being able to brush your teeth all the way back there and having a really bad taste in your mouth for a long time.
 
yeah actually youre wrong. im better adapted to life than you are because they are vestigial structures! hahaaaa alright.
 
Yeah, seriously. Why do we have wisdom teeth? Something to do with evolution? Neanderthals did have a different bone/jaw structure, maybe thats why? I dont feel like looking it up, speculation is much more fun.

 
we aren't even descended from neanderthals. at some point in the evolution from primitive primates the tree forked and we are on different branches than those cool old guys. pretty sure at least.
 
yea were decended from neanderthals buddy there part of eviloution.. just because we have branched off doesnt mean that we didnt come from them, some of are enzymes can be traced all the way back to yeast
 
pretty sure i am right there chief. we all have a common ancestor yes, but i believe they are not directly in line of our descent from that common ancestor, therefore we are not descended from them.

i'm just relying on a slight recall from a minute of a genetics class or some book i read recently. so i may be wrong.
 
well we are decendents from them im a bio major and i know my shit i just finished a sumer genetic class like 3 weeks ago
 
hes right.....your mouth will swell up so much, that you will not be able to shit out of it

Whoa there. He just made a thread asking what to expect, people hype it up a lot. No need to take the hater approach.
 
Oh I realize he should've used the searchbar, but you could've just said that instead of hating on him for making a mistake. Everyone makes them.
