i get them pulled tomorrow fuck. just thought i let everyone know i think im getting put asleep so the pain will hit after.
 
my sister is getting them done end of july. are you getting a needle in your arm though> i know its random but she really hates needles and most of her friends didnt get one in their arm, so shes curious
 
^ I got a needle in my arm, but it didn't take the vein for some reason, so i ended up getting it in the back of my hand. But I had already been inhaling nitrous from the mask for a bit, so I didn't feel the needles one bit, I just watched in interest as the nurse stuck me with the needle. Wisdom teeth pain is over rated, I didn't feel much at all. Good luck.
 
ask for nitrous before the needle, you won't feel it, and obviously if you don't like shots or needles, don't watch it get put in your arm. take some deep breathes of nitrous and shut your eyes and think of a heavy snowfall falling on your home mountain. That should put your mind at ease.
 
it isnt that bad, i had all four of mine out at once and the sucky part was that you cant eat normal food for a few days and for me it was right before thanksgiving.... lame
 
my dentist didn't give me nitrous either. in fact all i got was novacaine and had no pain at all. just don't worry about it and go into it thinking that everyone gets it done and if other people have done it, it can't be that bad. piece of cake man.
 
dude dont worry about it. Its nothing. I had my tonsils out and that was like 10 times worse. No joke. They give you a bunch of pain pills and you just have to deal with swollen cheeks for a few days.
 
weird how many ns'ers are getting them out around now, i'm getting them out tomorrow too. not looking forward to it
 
I love getting knocked out, and I don't really mind the needle in my arm, I have gotten needles a lot so it's no big thing. I have to get mine out this summer, my parents are looking for a surgeon right now. I am looking forward to this actually, I hope they give me some good shit.
 
Mine coming in was the painful part for me, worst fucking week of my life (maybe besides getting severe sun poisoning on my shoulders/back)

Got mine out last Friday..and the swelling is just about gone now. It's not so much the pain that makes it shitty (as long as you stay on the meds faithfully) its the fact that you can't eat real food for like 3 days..by like the second day all you want is to beable to chew and taste a full meal...The swelling is balls as hell too..face is ginormous and you can open your mouth a total of like half an inch. You could be a lucky one tho..some of my friends didnt swell at all and were playing in a basketball tourney the next day...just depends I guess..however my experience sucked some major chode..especially cause it was the first week that we were out of school...but good luck to ya..may the force be with you young jedi
