Wisdom Teeth and Constipation

i actually had the same thing happen to me i was on oxycodon, diloted, and vicotin after a surgery on my shoulder for 2 weeks i didnt poo then i finally chugged a laxative like 10 times my dosage and my flood gates opened up and no it doesnt feel good at all man so i feel your pain

hahaha thats great. i just had my wisdom teeth out on monday and i still cant chew or anything it fucking blows. i had the same kind of deal on a much smaller scale for the first like 3 days except i just had a normal one, not much constipation.

on a strange note though, they gave me vicodin (hydros) and it does nothnig to me. doesnt help the pain much and doesnt make me the slightest bit fucked up. the only thing i noticed about it was that from monday till yesterday i took the hydros, and today was the first day since sunday i could get a hard on. i mentioned it to my friend thinking he would be all like "dude dont worry that happens to everybody youll be fine." instead, he told this girl we both know and she ended up telling a bunch of other people. fucking awkward.

I didn't actually read the original post, but I'm assuming they gave you vicodin or oxycodone for pain. Those are opiates. Opiates make you constipated. It happens to heroin addicts.

since this is the official wisdom teeth...and constipation thread, i need to ask

i get my wisdom teeth out on monday and plan to drive up monday morning to tahoe and ski tuesday and wednesday. Im 22 and have a pretty high pain tolerance(from prior experience with broken bones and other body tissues). but, how bad does movement hurt? like i know im not gonna be straightlining mogul fields, but if i fall can i hurt the surgery site?

ima need some opinions on this one. I mean as long as the pain goes away after a few minutes if i crash hard(no matter how bad the pain is), i would feel okay about crashing.
