Wisdom Teeth aftermaths

first thing i said after getting my wisdom teeth out was "oh shit im so baked" to my mom. then i noticed that one of the ceiling tiles was crooked and i kept trying to stand up on the recovery table to fix it when no one was watching me. then when mom and i were outside, there was this sick looking hand rail by the stairs, and i shout "im gonna hit it" and started running (as best i could in my condition) at the rail and my mom just caught me by the collar when i was one step away from jumping on it.

maybe it's just me but getting my your wisdom teeth out is nothing like any of these videos.

i was knocked out and this is what apparently happened....

last thing i remember was saying "wow it feels like i'm on a boat" because the drugs started to kick in, and apparently i passed out right after that. when i awoke i was a little dazed, but was capable of fluent conversation. apparently i repeated a question once or twice but other than that i seemed completely normal, just dizzy and a little sleepy in the recovery room. after that we left the room, i remember walking to the car and the car ride home. the only odd thing i did was say "wait, when did i get my hat on?" after putting it on seconds before that.

in terms of the pain, it honestly hurts less than when i got my braces on. the only bad part is the bleeding, because blood tastes gross and my bottom stitches have been bleeding for 2 days now. getting your top wisdom teeth out is PAINLESS. literally my top teeth have NO pain whatsoever. the bottom ones hurt, but not that bad, just a dull pain for a while.

the day after getting them out i'm chilling at burger king eating 2 double cheeseburgers with bacon, and i haven't taken the prescription pills they gave me, only some advil. fuck yeah. oh and the swelling looks kinda funny haha

dude. honestly getting my wisdom teeth out was one of the greatest weekends of my life so far. I sat at home, ate soup and ice cream and played Fall Out: New Vegas 24/7 because it just came out like the day before while high as shit on pain meds.

haha shit. i had mine out last weak and i said the most insane shit. when i first woke up, i thought one of the nurses was my cousin and she was talking about how some kid was yelling and shit. i was yelling "PARTYYYY!!!!" over and over haha. on the the ride home, i put my hat on side ways and was like "mom, im a god damn thug." and i would normally never cuss in front of my mom. i took pictures of my self throwing gang signs and texted people the most ridiculous stuff. i remember telling this one girl i felt like a butter fly. i asked her to marry me. half my face was numb so i remember telling my mom to take me to get my lip peirced because i couldnt feel it. when i got home, i went to the couch and turned on the latest workaholics episode (the one where they get a new drug dealer) and i texted people and ranted to my mom about puttng hot spoons on my tongue to get hella free pizza. I distinctly remember sitting on the couch yelling "MOM! I WANT HELLA FREE PIZZA!" the following hours sucked. and thats the time i got my wisdom teeth out

Some back story: two years before I got my teeth out I quit playing soccer and the day I got my teeth out they were having tryouts for my old team. Now for the real story, so right when I got my wisdom teeth out I apparently started telling my dad I needed to get to tryouts, and was planning my work out routine with him haha. Then in the car ride home I was with just my Mom and I played "Ambitzions of a Ridah" sp? On repeat for about 30 minutes. The only part that sucked was how much your mouth bleeds after surgery. It's gross.

Was really apprehensive about having mine out since my bottom teeth were HEAVILY impacted and stuff and I knew it would hurt like a bitch to have them out. The entire experience wasn't that bad. My parents are like a 2 min drive from the oral surgeon. I just remember her keep asking how I was doing and saying "Wonderful" each and every time. Oxycontin is great shit. Just keep it under control. I have a friend who is now addicted from taking too much too fast (albeit addiction is also heavily genetic) from when he had it done.

when i woke up from getting my wisdom teeth out i felt nothing at all. everyone who acts like that after the surgery is a pussy.

yeah this is how i feel haha

except now, 4 days later, the pain is unbearable for me. i either have dry socket or they fucked up with something because my entire face is radiating pain. i'm also pretty sure that they stitched my gums to the inside of my cheek....

I will post up after school but the daughter of my mom's friend has a pretty funny one. My brother is getting his out right at this moment actually, his appt was at 9:30. nmaybe my mom will film him or something.

My brother and I got ours out at the same time last year and it was pretty interesting. I remember on the car ride home I thought my nose was running, but it was fine, it was just the weird feeling of numbness. I kept asking for a tissue but my mom couldn't understand me so I started getting really mad. Then my brother in the backseat started yelling at me (we were both out of it) because I kept asking for a tissue. Then I just started to break out in tears. That's all I remember of the car ride.

I went in for my pre-op and the dentist started talking about how it wouldn't hurt but I'd feel a bit of a tug etc etc. I was like, listen here doc, just put me under. None of this local anaesthetic, I've already made my mind up.

They asked me when I was awake if it hurt, and I said no. PROTIP: If you say it still hurts they give you something better than Tylenol 3s. I regret that haha.

Im scared that when i get mine out im going to say something dumb like "this feels just like being high" and just totally blow my cover of being a good kid to my parents

eh, it's not that bad, I got them out in 8th grade (super early) and the worst part was everyone calling me "chipmunk cheeks" at school. Just load up on painkillers the days you're home, and just chill. the actual surgery is fine, you get knocked out and you do hilarious stuff when you come to (this thread) evidently I just gave everyone i saw thumbs up and was super stoked.

Getting my wisdom teeth out was so tight. Got released, couldn't feel anything and I had straight double vision for like an hour. Got home and my mom fed me like 5 hydros because i was whining a lot.

Remembered I had just gotten skyrim right as they kicked in, I was so scared in dungeons, it took me about 2 hours to complete the first quest. Leveled my sneak up a wholeeee lot. And i got to eat pudding. endless snack packs
