Hey NS, I live in madison and am looking for some ski shop to get new gear. I ski park so I want somewhere that sells park skis, bindings and boots. This is only my 2nd year park skiing so I don't really know where to get the hookups. Anyplace really in madison, milwaukee or somewhere within 2hrs of mad town would be great! Thanks

honestly you can probably find better deals online, but there's Fontana and REI in Madison, Les Moise in Milwaukee. thats all that i really know of.

Sheperd and Schaller in Wausau, WI it's eh, they have Volkl, Rossignol, Nordica, LINE.

Zellers in Green Bay, WI i've only heard good things from

there's one in Appleton i know of that my friend goes to

I also live in madison. The most legit brick and mortar store you will find around here would be The Board Shop in Lake Geneva. Not too far away. About an hour to an hour and a half I think.

the appleton shop is weak imo...the shop i frequent mostly. not very educated staff. limited selection.

Les Moise!! Two stores, one north of Milw, and another in Brookfield right off of 94. IMO the best shop around, I guess I am a little biased tho, I have been working there for 4 years. Stop on in and see me. Are you looking for anything in particular?

^aight man im in the market for new binders skis and boots. whats ur guys boot and binding selection like?

there was this one store in madison that seemed like one large multi story ski/hiking/biking shop near state street. (it could've been the REI that was already stated) but i remember them carrying salomon and other freestyle skis. hope that kinda helps, i have not been there in about 4 years.

We have more boots than you can shake a stick at, the biggest selection in WI. If you are lookin for a park boot, we have the full line of FTs, SPKs, Nordica Hot Rods. Otherwise we carry salomon, lange, nordica, fischer, head, FT, and another company that is slipping my mind right now.
Binding wise, we have Look, Rossi, Salomon, marker, fischer, and head. We have the new FKSs comming in too. We have the Dukes, Barons, Jesters, Griffons, Schizo versions of both of those too. We also have the new squire in too from marker. I believe it the 10 din version of a griffon.

Erik's Bike Shop also has a fair amount of skiing gear. They just started carrying skiing stuff last year and there are a lot of good people who work there. There is a shop on the Eastside, Westside, and Downtown Madison... so I would for sure at least stop in and check them out. The downtown store didn't carry skis last season because it's a smaller store, but for sure check out one of the other two stores.

Man, I wish we could multiquote replies here.
Erik, you are the man, dalbello was the brand I forgot.
To 23undftd23, we do have a pretty good selection of stuff, plus two stores, so we have a good variety and stock. Unfortunately, we dont advertise too well.

^yea my shop really makes me mad..they only sell ski gear during season. last year their binding selection was a toal of i think 4 different bindings. two being low end markers and the other two being Salomon z series. They only offer like northface and burton apparell. and their staff is all like bro style dudes

Man, that sounds shitty. We have all of our ski and board gear out year roun, and it makes my day when I get to talk skis or do a bootfit in the summer. We carry A LOT of north face and burton, but we also have a huge selection of other outerware companies too. Stop on in and check us out!You can PM if you have any other questions, or call us at
