Wisconsin beats #1 Ohio State

Well OSU still at least has time to come back in the polls, and this win will also bring Michigan State up into the top 10 most likely. I'm betting Michigan State will be ranked 8 and Wisconsin 9
 
yeah major fuck you to the ducks! their not that good and wont win the civil war game... but itll be that much sweeter if they are ranked number 1 win they lose!
 
Ducks were actually #1 in coaches poll last week if I was correct... They were #2 in AP. someone should verify this.

 
Just checked and you were right. Ducks were #1 in only ESPNU fan rankings. Don't rant about how its not a legit poll, we know.

a team whose hardest game was against oregon state shouldn't even be in the talks for a national championship. The WAC (women and children), is basically an extended practice session for their bowl game. They don't deserve anything but to play TCU again for the bowl to see whose better out of the two dogshit leagues. Now that Utah is gone from the MWC its just as bad as the WAC. If they actually had something to prove they would've put a stronger case in as to joining the PAC 12, I would've liked to have seen them join over Colorado. The problem probably was that they wouldn't have been allowed to keep that stupid fucking blue field.
 
the main difference is that Bsu thinks they can win.. Oregon KNOWS they can..

one point win. ducks over broncos in the chip...... me a with a bucket gathering tears from the fans...

and i do want to see this game, in any rate Oregon's road there is gonna be harder. and its not a cake walk like the broncos.. and yes we did get beat twice.. do those wins mean shit now.. not really, its great for bragging rights in a bar. like carrying around the picture of the hottest girl you fucked last year. . but i know that third times the charm. . Oregon is too fast and a much better team then last year.

but we will see. a lot of ball to be played on both sides.

and those professionals who study every team out there, they dont know anything, do they? thats why they are saying that bsu can compete with any other collegiate team.

i dont agree bsu should play for the national championship until they have a more difficult schedule.
 
even if it is, when they do play higher ranked teams, they win.

and they also destroy any other team in the wac.

Boise could barely beat Virginia Tech. In any real conference they would not be undefeated. The fact that Boise and TCU basically can't be taken out of their spots because of how bad their conferences are is bullshit. At least TCU has to play Utah.
 
Except both the coaches and AP poll have put Oregon on top. Oklahoma should (and probably will) jump Boise pretty soon as well. Have fun playing TCU again.
 
really how does a loss in last years season effect what happens right now.? really.. as i stated before.... i want to see this game.. end all discussion. . right now bsu fans are acting like a bunch of husky fans.. and thats saying alot!

if both teams were to play on a neutral site... it would be a tight game. shoot out but tight. . the respective defenses would not be able to hold the offences.. now in conversations regarding self inflected wounds. yes. Oregon needs to shore up turnovers and penalties. but they look pretty good as of right now. the last two games that were won were by one score... not much of a poop stomp as you say
 
BSU never had a chance at joining the Pac-12, no matter how much they petitioned. Pac-12 requires so much funding for research programs and several other academic qualifiers that BSU does not have and could not facilitate putting together in anything short of several years anyways. They are being punished for something out of there control, and they always go out of their way to schedule out of conference games against opponents predicted to be good. Couple that with a pretty pristine recent history in big bowl games and it's hard to knock them.
 
I think BSU's biggest problem in games of the past was a weak defense in the second half. Even with the leave of Kyle Wilson i think the Defense is better than before so Oregon would have trouble with that. Plus BSU's offense is on top of things as always.

BSU needs shots at big games and big opportunities to either prove they can play with big teams, or to be beaten and lose some credit. I think it would be Interesting to see what would happen to them in a really tough conference.
 
you can't complain about BSU's easy ass schedule when teams like #5 Nebraska have a 10X easier schedule. People were talking about them as a National Title contender...Total bullshit
