Wisco Spring Break?

So I have the choice of staying here at college (Laramie, WY, close to every resort in Co) or heading home with my roommate to Eau Claire, WI.

How's the skiing out there right now? What's the closest mountain and is it even worth it to haul all of my gear out there? Also, it looks pretty cheap, I'd have free lodging, instead of paying $80 per day in Summit County and $50 per night..
 
Well you can go to wausau and ski granite peak, they have been killing it this year. You are looking at $50 to ski plus lodging. Or you can venue to MN and pay a little cheaper for a smaller mountain. Id take the money you would spend comming home and just ride CO!
 
jea, but eau Claire is bomb (UWEC alum), and granite is the tits. and there is new snow. and CO is fucking packed and the altitude sucks ahha.
