Winters around the corner

leaves are changing in lake placid. I went SUP'ping Monday and the water was 72 degrees. its still all about daytime temps which is still a toasty 85
 
I've got just under 4 months till I see snow. 3 months if we get lucky.

Fuck.

Yup. It'll be hot until the end of September, possibly a few amazing days in October. Then it will get cold, but the snow and everything will die, but it won't snow and stay until mid/late December

At least on the prairies.

I see a tiny bit of colour in pa this past weekend and the water from the mnt creeks is real cold. Its coming alright just a matter of time

Lol what. I don't think the temp is supposed to get below 50 anytime soon at troll.
 
winters around the corner and ill most likely be missing the season due to a torn ACL ); hopefully i can at least catch some turns at the end of the season though!

Idk about elsewhere but here in michiganland it just went from mid 80s to low 60s and high 50s. My hype level just skyrocketed. Then a gain it could just be Michigan weather.
