anyone get a chance to see the pipe comp. it was a good show. Judging was bullshit like always. oh well

1.Tanner

2.Dumont

3.Olenick

congrats to all

it was sick, but yeah, judging was a little off i agree... i think dumont took it cuz he had the monster airs, 1260 (clean-not a sketchy 10, just to compare), then the flat 7 to sw 7. olenick was back seat in every double flip, but that was still cool. props.

ya dumont got robbed for sure, he should have edged out tanner... but it was such a sick show, glad to see them all fighting hard adn skiing so well... i just wish ESPN had showed more of the finals and other skiers instead of just thall, dumont and olenick (and others, i know)

so, did jon olsen fall/ not do so good/ not throw down. i have no cable and have not seen clips. and i'm lazy. and when is slope sytle?

Judging was completely on!

The judges werent looking for how much you could spin at the end of the run, they were looking for a good first Tech Trick, and then that you stuck everything else down the pipe, Tanner, and Olenick, both did that, This comp was not all about Spin to WIn, they took into account style as well. People may not realize it now, but this is actually very good progression for our sport.

and if you think dumont was robbed you have to say Andreas was robbed too, the reason he didnt get top 3 is he did the same kind of run Simon does, SPIN TO WIN!, Olenick brought style in and ended up with a 90.00 on his third run, the Double Flat Spin ooozes with tech and style

1. Tanner won bc he threw a switch 10 (first hit) and a regular 10. Have you seen 2 10s in one pipe run before?

2. Dumont got second bc of his amplidtude. He was going the biggest, but the 5 truckdriver hes been doing for 3+ years... step up the technicallity... grab your 1260.

3. Pete deserveed 3rd bc he had a sick dbl flip (no grab), but he also didnt have the tech...no switch spins.

In my eye, judging was DEAD on. I even predicted Dumonts last score, a 92.

no he has only done it the past 2 years and this year it was a truck to mute. Also dumont did a 1260 and which has prolly never been done before. Plus he did back to back 7s the first one was rightside then a switch 7. So im pretty sure he got robbed for the second time in a row.

Olenick did a double flat spin, which no one has EVER done before, hes the only one! why shouldnt he get first

In my opinion....... Dumont is the only one that can get away without grabbing when he spins because he's sooo short. If peter or andreas did that it would look stupid.

tanner really didnt do one right side spin in his winning run...last years was more progressive than this years in my opinion

Just got done watching the slopestyle. It was alright i wished jon could of won. The coverage was shit, got to see like only 5 skiers but oh well.

How can you guys say the judging was off? They were only seperated by one point! That means they both had great runs and the judges knew it. now whether you think Simon should have won or glad tanner won is all part of the sport...it's subjective

his run was so nuts. I am happy with the results. in both slopestyle and half pipe. and BTW skier-X is fuckin hardcore. those guys are rediculous and the crashes are outta this world. my god.

GT started this shit were doing, i read it in Freeze, and he is still better than most people here, i dont think any one here has the right to say he sucks

why the fuck are you hating on GT he is the shit. fuck all the haters he is out there still being an old dude ripping for the love not the money. so you lil kids show some respect to your elders.

i dont know about anyone else, but i didnt see even a little moto x this year. that really pleased me. winter x is getting back to where it belongs.

I agree with cody the skier-x is hardcore i would like to see some more of those crashes... i almost felt bad for those guys

call me a hater i dont like gt. and no one is in the sport for the money bill there isnt hardly any money in the sport.

so you are saying that they are skiing for the money, yeah ok bill. lets see...tanner starts his own film company so he can take skiing a way that he wants it to go, hate it or love it he is trying to progress the sport. simon is going huge even after he nearly died last season, and he is just fucking baller on top of that. and jon, if you actually think he is in it for the money i think you are mentally retarded

mayby they are not in it for the money....but if you win you do get a decent amount of money, not to mention money from your sponsors

Thanks Cody! Steve you have to agree at least a little. plus those jumps are like at least 65ft. (the big ones) the others are at a minimum of like 20ft. I unno, i think its nuts. they just covered it too much.

im sorry if a made anyone mad with that wholw GF thing. I should of done some research before i said what i said. Im sorry GF and to all who love him.

it should of been

1.dumont

2. tanner

3. olenick

dumon went pretty good, and i just liked his style a little more i guess

now that i actually saw the comp, the person who got screwed was andreas. right side ten to switch nine? tanner threw maybe one right side spin the whole night. fuck judges.

i really don't think tanner deserved a 95. he didn't grab his switch ten, whipped the last 3 around, and cased the landing. he also didn't grab on his 10 at the end. don't get me wrong it was insane and i give him mega props. i just don't think it was worth the score he got. and pete did grab his dub flat
