yeah cam sinclair has an impressive story, and I can't double back a motorcycle, but we saw Pastrana do that in like '06. tony hawk would still win. summer X peaked years ago.
 
Kinda agree got really bored. Only event that kept it real was skate street. Got bored watching all the other events and I have watched them all.
 
The summer action sports need to start the dubs. The double back on the dirt bike is cool but bmx needs to start busting out some dubs. Also, they need to put fruit booting back in because some of those guys have trips in the pipe.
 
i swear wakeboarding used to be in the x games but i dont think it is anymore. either that or its just not aired

I was also looking forward to see Pastrana throw the TP roll but he withdrew.

Skiers will bring it so much harder.
 
BMX park is the sickest to watch for sure! th ose guys do some crazy shit...i'd say there definitely is progression in BMX park
 
yeah, mike spinner does some crazy shit. I think he can do a 720 double tail whip. but does/can he go upside-down? never seen it.
 
I think the world would have stopped if he landed the TP. He did break his collarbone and have it surgically repaired like 6 weeks ago and is too weak in the shoulder to get the last rotation... fair excuse. Said he could compete with the double back again but that would be a cop out.

Basically the coolest guy in the history of X.
 
i just really like watching the bmx and skate street comps, along with rally car. that's it for summer x
 
yea it was in xgames for a long time. Parks Bonifay won it like twice when he was young as hell.I don't understand why they pulled it. Wakeboarders seem to thing that it will make a push back into x.
It would be pretty damn tight to see a similar setup to red bull wake lab and have a rail jam type format. Shit would be fire.

skate street sucked this year. the course was so stupidly set up it had no flow at all. no one was enthusiastic about it either.
 
Street was sick, well at least skateboarding was. Chaz was robbed once again by Sheckler. Sheckler's run wasn't even close as good as Chaz's run.
 
Yea. Everyone watches Summer WAY more than Winter. I think it is very trendy to have everyone freaking out over all the summer shit. Not to say that it isn't good, I mean I still watch it on occasion. But, sooner or later skiing is going to make its way out there and then everyone will realize how important our sport is. NOT.
 
I totally forgot about summer X. It's just not on my to-do list because I really don't care about it. The only thing I enjoy watching is the street skate, and I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time while it was on
 
they need to institute the "jam session" format into slopestyle and halfpipe in the winter, so much more exciting to watch then runs
 
i was pretty psyched on BMX street qualis and bestwick was sick in Vert i only really care about biking in the summer so the rest doesn't really matter to me
 
they have totally sold out.

they make the parks so they look amazing to non action sport fans and stuff yet they arnt as good for the riders.

i just really miss inline and wakeboarding

I don't know why they put rally in. Probably cause travis pistrana wanted to drive one. They took inline and other good events out and put dumb stuff in.
 
wakeboarding was, they got rid of it probably because of how inconsistent water conditions can be, along with how hard it is to televise and have spectators in good view, not to mention a good venue.

that being said if it was still in the xgames it would be sick, although most wake to wake trick progression is being done on double ups, 1080's, dub fronts/backs, etc
 
anyone else disappointed with rally this year? it seemed like every race was decided by mechanical fuck ups or course confusion, the highlights were like 2 crashes, one guy rolling and travis pastrana sliding uphill into a barrier..... ooooh exciting.....
