Winter X Games VIII

You know what sucks is EXPN still doesn't consider skiing a major sport in Winter X. You'd figure with the same events as snowboarding they would start to respect the sport.

By no recognition I mean they have no links to skiing other than guys who have already qualified for the event. There's no main skiing section like there is for BMX, Moto X, and Snowboarding.

 
Those jerkoffs at the Xgames made the skiers ride a different halftube than the snowboarders. That is so queer. The cool thing is that they actually showed skiing in the global x games, or maybe they didnt I dont really remember. I wish they did, and if the didn't they should have. I am telli you guys that once skiing gets a good game and some of the better fooy from the counless sick videos gets exposure we will have our own x games page. People like watching the skiing part of the x games, but the suits at espn dont care, there is more money to be made from other sports.

no, they definently showed skiing in global x. At least the halfpipe even because I have it on tape.

wtf, Halftube??, and i don't think they rode different pipes, cause I doubt they would build a second pipe that would allow candide and CR to boost to 19 ft, or whatever the insane number was.

-If people don't want 'Posers' in their sport they should quit skiing and take up knitting. I highly doubt that anyone 'Poses' as a knitter. -Jibtech

 
Did you see how much bigger the skiers went in the pipe and park last year. It was amazing.

You know what would be the shit is if they would open the slopestyle and pipe comps to both skiers and boarders. Think about that. The winner wouldn't be the best skier or snowboarder of the year but instead the best on snow.

After CR and Candide last year in the pipe I know there is no boarder than can touch those two in terms of amplitute. Hell.

 
What are you talking about a different 'halftube'?????? We skied the same halfpipe as the snowboarders and will do so again...

And if you think skiing isn't getting exposure this year you are exactly WRONG. Skiing halfpipe and snowboard halfpipe are one of the ONLY events to be done LIVE on sportscenter at PRIME TIME...AKA the most exposure possible...

FYI, the pipe was cut differently for the skiers on purpose, and apparently it worked, although not so well for my favorite cover boy.
