Winter X Games in Europe

I've heard about next year's winter X being held someplace in Europe, or is this just gonna be another branch thing like X Games Dubai, Brazil, Mexico etc....
 
if there is one it will be a branch off, no point in making the comp not in the US when most of the skiers/boarders are crom the US or canada
 
surely it wouldnt be a bad thing if it did, just broadens the sport around the world

personally seeing a big event like that in europe would be amazing and i'm sure the pro's would go to it, they do lots of traveling as it is so not that much of a big deal to them
 
If I remember correctly, Buttermilk Mtn signed a contract to be the host of the Winter X Games until 2012, so X Games Europe would def be a branch-off if its taking place already this winter
 
its just a Euro version and its gonna be held in Tignes, France....there's still gonna be the normal winter x games in America
 
wonder who will be competing then, gonna be interesting to see how people rate the importance of this event to others
 
be good too see some of the crazy guys from Europe kill it, see how they do against the american pros, since they dont have that much of an opportunity to compete with them
