I think someone from NS is on the committee actually. Although I'm sure his say isn't necessarily going to be the same as whoever else is on the committee.

australian slopestyle machine, podiumed at playstreets and won both the european an NZ opens.

spins both ways like gagnier.

Sammy has a fuckin X games medal how is he not pre qualified?

I would assume TJ should be on there too considering he is healthy.

Although there dope not really surprised about T Wall or Henrik.
 
No sammy, wester, pk, or tj....wtf....thats just inexcusable. I can understand no wallisch as hes injured, and no henrik i guess i can understand even though he is deserving, but this is just bullshit.
 
Espn is more about creating a story out of the competition than inviting the best riders. Its a ratings game, not a skiing game.
 
I'm gonna guess this isn't the complete list of athletes who will go to Aspen. There is absolutely no way PK and Jacob wouldn't be invited. There are lots of other riders I would expect too, but these two have won like.. every contest so far this year between them.
 
I'm pretty sure the US Open has huge play for the X games! Thats how Spriggs got in a couple of years back! The list will change...

I wanna see TJ, Tanner, Tom, Henrik, Sammy and PK just to name a few and they all deserve it.
 
i would be really suprised if pk, sammy, jacob and henrik didnt get the last 4 spots. so shitty about t wall. also, russ henshaw destorys shit, both cab 10s, dubs, mad rail skis, kid is real good. the course is sick too! more rails/jibs than last year...
 
I don't what all of you are complaining about, that list is pretty sick if you ask me. I only have one problem with it an that's Olenick. Anders and Russ are superrr dope, and Casabon is simply amazing Hatveit (who I thought was injured?) is amazing at spinning both ways, and corked. Gagnier is a picture perfect competition skier, big spins, long tech grabs, both ways. Also, the US open is a deciding factor for the X-games also, so you might be seeing Harlaut or some other skiers in there.
 
Your a dumbass, Colby got 3rd last year in pipe behind the ever present 1,2 of tanner and simon, and if Peter O landed his last 10 he very well might have placed 2nd or 3rd in pipe. Also these two have had results in years past. Colby got 3rd in slope in 07 as well. Peter O got 3rd in pipe in 07 i believe. How can you say that colby, one of the best skiers in the world, should not be invited
 
dew tour had some messed up stuff too, wallisch was pre qualified but not jon, jacob or pk. thats just messed up...nothing agains twall, but his competition results are nowhere near the other guys

Missing from my list is.... SAMMY (wtf?), Kaya for womens slope, harlaut, prolly wallisch, lj would be dope

yeah cause if they invited tanner to slopestyle and he made a super epic comeback and probaly would of been the oldest person to win slopestyle(maybe candide was older) would of been a shitty story

also i like the slopestyle list exept no sammy pk cosco and henrik

but i hope some of the lesser known guys will take it

 
Can you post some vid or a link to some of his shit or something? I don't know if I've ever seen him ski.
