Winter vacations for local high school kids?

Hello! Planning a trip to the alps in feb or march and wanted to make sure that we don't end up there when all of the school kids are on vacation. Do any locals know yet when winter/spring vacations are?? Thanks!

Switzerland is from 17.2 till 4.3.2007, do not know about other places

Dont go in that week or the week after. Coz these weeks are gonna be a disaster!! Evryone in europe will have vacation in that week!!!

The French vacations are spread. The winter holidays are spread over February (14th feb till 6th march) and the spring holidays are spread over April (8th april till 2nd may).

So just go in March it's always the best month.

In Switzerland the impact of school holidays isn't as big as in France and Austria.
