Winter Ski Camp

Windells has a camp from December 26 - January 2. MHSSC has a camp fro December 26 - 31. I am looking to progress as I am still a beginner in park. I have already read some threads about both camps, but I'm specifically looking for information on the WINTER session. Which camp would you recommend?

Thanks!

same here bro..im looking at the windells winter session..buti want to know more about it before i go for it

Neither will have all the epicness of the summer sessions. There will be no private park for either, and most of the outdoor stuff will be unusable. In fact, MHSSC will almost certainly be under several feet of snow by that time. There will be hardly any campers compared to summer, and the normal coaches will be mostly gone at their winter homes.

All that being said, the public parks at Skibowl, Timberline and Meadows are pretty good and you will likely get to ski pow. You may not even want to ski park a good amount of the time you're there or the park may get buried. Winter conditions are a whole lot more variable than summer. I think you'll have fun no matter what, but MHSSC will likely be cheaper.

windells winter sessions are sick. theres typically 30 to 50 campers for that session which means you get a lot more "one on one" time with your coach. also the indoor facilities are much less crowded for more time for you to jump and skate. as for on hill its true there is no private park but timberline and meadows both have pretty sick parks. theres hardly anyone at timberline so you can easily hot lap the park all day. timberline also has very easily accesible side country with sick wind lips, cornices and gullies for building quick and easy jumps. meadows has steeper terrain so if there is a good snowfall you have the option of riding some of the sickest terrain in the nw. and you get to ride through the new year, ski bowl stays open till 2 am on new years eve/day.
