Winter proof/waterproof hoodie for riding?

I'm honestly getting sick of having a soggy cotton hoodie while I ski, does anyone know where I can buy those winter proof ones?

Get a shell then. It will keep you dry but not overheat you if it's warm. If it's cold layer under and your set for all conditions with one jacket.

You are seriously limiting your options for no reason other than style. The closest thing I have seen thats 'waterproof' as a hoodie is the Saga OG logo, and thats only 5k waterproofing. You would be much better off getting a good jacket for when it is really cold or wet and sticking to the hoodie on nice days.

So your saying your hoodie doesn't get soaked on those nice days like when you fall over in the snow and it melts on you?

is it just me or does goretex for skiing seem a bit of overkill. Unless of course your skiing endless runs on deep powder.

For backcountry riders I can Definately see it. But I don't really get the need on the front side. Never worn a gortex jacket. But my 20k jacket has done fine in everything I've thrown at it.

The advantage for gortex is more about breathablilty than anything else. No point in keeping the water out if you are just going to soak yourself from sweat. It might not be that big of an issue during leasurly park laps but if you are say skiing powder or really difficult terrain you are going to probably be sweating a good bit.
