Winter park snow, is it really this bad right now

I know they open in like 5 days and i haven't been up in a little while but please tell me this picture makes it look a lot worse then it is? anyone live up there and know?

well usually they open on the right hand side where they have tons of snowmaking... that's more of the left.

Northwest needs snow BAD, storm suppose to come this sunday... you should see Steamboat right now... we got nothing but at the very top!

I talked with the park crew and walked around the base yesterday.  They will definitely have parkway open on opening day (the run to the right in the picture).  They were pushing it out yesterday so they could move the guns elsewhere.  They also have a gun blowing in Dog Patch East.  They are hoping to have a couple of features set up there too.  But yeah, they are trying to make the best of a shitty situation.

It's bad all over coloardo.  This is what Peak 8 at Breck looks like today.   I could be wrong, but it looks unlikely that there will be jumps open tomorrow.

^I called Breck today. Unless they were B.S. with me, there will be 6 rails/features up. They are trying to open jumps by the end of next week.

Breck opens peak 9 first not peak 8. They open tomorow, and there is plenty of snow at base, I was hoping the would have jumps open for first day like last year but it isn't gonna happen.
