Winter Park=Sick

Hey everyone, im prolly the newest member of this cult but fuck it. . . i hit up WP for the first time today and it wasnt lookin to bad. . . their jib park was decent, much much much better flow then coppers. They had 3 smaller rails (straight, flat-down kink, ride-on down) and 4 bigger ones (2 down rails, medium sized rainbow and a pretty big flat-down kink). Its a good alternative to the craziness that is copper, not to mention they have almost 3 times the terrain open and mary jane opens friday.

 
yeah went up today as well deffinatly some of the best snow coverage in the stae as well as a decent park

i dont reely like mary jane...all it is is moguls and the chutes and the bowl are never open, i cant stand moguls all day, and in the winter the only way to lap the park is wait in a lift line for 30 minutes

Cool that is one less person I have to deal with. The lines aren't as bad as any of the Five Mountains. (i.e. Keystone on a Saturday!) The bowl opens buy X-mas anyways. (Backside Parsen is the Shit!)

 
yeah im with ^ him. mary jane is so rad, bumps may be a little old school for people on this site, but i think they're really cool, they take tons of talent, and doing tons of moguls is a killer workout. honestly, im just a newschool as anyone on this site, but id say that just about the hardest thing to do in skiing is to ski mary janes bump runs one after the other w/out stopping all day.

its great that wp has such variety in their terrain..theyve got the sick bump runs, the bowls, and a good park.

 
ya its tru they have sick bowls and stuff, but the people that i go to winter park with only ski moguls, which i used to think were fun until i got good at em and now there so boring, just the same thing over again
