Winter Park accomodation

I'm going to be instructing at Winter Park all season and need somewhere to stay.

Having not sorted employee accomodation and been very slack looking for other places to live my current plan is just rocking up in early December (or as soon as i get my visa) and hoping to find a place.

My question is whether this is likely to work, has anyone tryed it before or am I an idiot who needs to put some serious effort into finding a bed right now?

It isn't the end of the world if you don't have a place at first. There are some youth hostel type places and at least one christian youth house type thing that will give you a place to stay for a while if you absolutely need it. I would start looking online though if I were you.
