Winter is finally here.. . thank fucking god

Met some homies up at DV today, literally buried to my waste in a few spots in the trees (which was actually a pain in the ass since its heavy snow and it was a bitch to get out). Tomorrow is shaping up to be even better. My brain is in charge mode, but my legs are def not in true ski shape.
 
Per the UAC......

LCC road is currently buried under 13 feet of debris from a natural slide in White Pine tonight. From what I heard, driving down from AltaBird this afternoon was absolute carnage.
 
word from a few friends that left right as lifts were closing that they didnt get out of the canyon til 8 and 830. chaos!
 
i am at snowbird right now (inner-lodged at iron blossom)

there is 23 inches and they are blasting right now. they said roads should open around 10:30. still no estimated time for opening for snowbird but Alta is estimated to open at 10:30.

they have been blasting the mountain almost non-stop for the last 30 minutes.

hope you all can make it up here cuz its gonna rule!

 
So glad I avoided the 'Bird today. Canyons was f'ing on point except for the mobs of people and the line on Super Condor.
 
dude ya, shit was gay for like an hour and a half. those trees over there though were kind of fun no one was going in them they just wanted to ski down the shitty groomers like fucks.
 
Don't know what your problem was, I had an awesome time at the bird today! Hoping they open Peruvian or maybe Gad II for tomorrow though.
 
brighton was fucking ridiculous yesterday, competed for best day of my life. There was, however, THE deepest slab I have ever seen broken off right next to one of the cat-tracks off western. It was quite a bit taller than I was
 
yeah i saw that. Did you hear anything about the slide off of pioneer or over in that direction? I rode the lift with a guy that saw a group of people picking through a slide, and it sounded like someone may have been buried. Hopefully that isnt the case.
 
Im riding right now on dream area, it's fun. Haven't been here long enough to find the locals Poe but its mad fun
 
Supposed to maybe get a half inch today, another half inch tonight, but nothing noteworthy. Looks like we can expect dustings in PC on and off all week, but not sure when the next real storm will be rolling in. Finally woke up to some extremely sore legs this morning after yesterdays pow-mining, and it felt damn good.
 
when the snow started today it made the last hour of a very tedious physics lab tolerable thinking about tomorrow.

Some of my friends wanted to go and I was pleading with them not to because I knew he might just make an appearance and def wouldn't actually play. Sure enough, my friends were all pissed off this AM because he made a brief appearance in the VIP area and that was it.

On a better note, NAS on Friday... def lookin to go to that
