anybody have any sweet setups on their cars/trucks/suvs that they take to the ski hill in the winter? stickers, big tires etc?

Subaru Outback AWD with ABS. My dad is getting a new car and I'm getting his. Its also the classic Meathead Productions car.

2008 GMC sierra 2500 HD is the new whip. or a 2002 Chevy Tahoe with a sick hand made ski rack in the back

personally im a big fan of F-350s with the snowmobile rack that goes in the bed of the truck, it looks sooo sick

until you fill the tank, then notice that most other poeple that drive huge trucks like that for no real reason have the smallest dicks :D

yeah, but remember in his video blog he had to jump the thing cause it was too cold? not exactly good for heading to the hills with, if the Italian build can't handle the cold.

'89 Dodge 3/4 ton pickup with a Cummins Diesel. Single cab, long bed.I can go anywhere in that thing. Plus it runs on veggie oil. :)

2007 subaru impreza sport wagon with a ski rack

cheap brand new, great gas mileage, AWD. it actually handles in the snow better then my all wheel drive explorer did

could be this

depending on my grandparents shits baller throw some wallmart rims and some underglow on that and itll be tight

louie and i LOVE it, he likes racing in it lol and its completely stock. it has some balls when the A/C is off and when i am in phoenix i get almost 400 miles to the tank!!

1988 jeep xj, (cherokee), 4.5 inch lift, 32 inch super swampers, dana 44 rear, rustys tube front bumper, t-max 9000 lb winch, lots of scratches from trees, a whole in the rear door cuz i broke a strap cuz i was stuck in mud, dents, it gives it character, ummmm, lots of other stuff, it does the job, im bit of a redneck and its a bit of a redneck vehicle. lots of time spent in the bush, hangin in the middle of butfuck nowhere.

yea, i love it. but i want to do lots more like more lift, long arm kit, bigger axles, lockers, lower gears, blahblahblah.

stuck at a local wheelin spot after work one day, i pulled in 2 trucks, and then one finally strapped to a tree and winched me out

nice!! mine is so bland, automatic and silver. i am working on getting a custom exhaust for it and finally fixing the broken windshield (it cracked 2 years ago lol)

yea, but its a ford, wat did u expect? plus i have the 4.0L, which will run forever, and the parts for it are plentiful. it has 330,000 on it right now, and still running strong

you shouldve gotten the new STI haha even tho its a hatchback which im not a huge fan of its real sick. im a big fan of just the regular WRX too pretty fast AWD nice car

ya i upgraded and got the foglights too, i wanted a used WRX but my mom wouldn't let me get a used car so i got an impreza. it took me like 30 phone calls to find someone who would do an exhaust on my car, but i found someone!!
which is nuts considering how many subaru's are on the road here in utah!!

whatd you do for an exhaust? just a cat-back? its pretty straight forward if thats all you had to do haha just bolts on basically

my dream ski cars would be the brand new v10 twin turbo audi rs6 avant for ballerness.

or an evo 8/9 with 15 inch rally rims, some really nice studded snow tires, dirt suspsnsion (longer travel), skid plates, etc.. for fun. driving to the resort would be a constant drift!

just imagine driving this up to the mountain,

what you just described is called a cat-back system haha. a "full system" would be headers, new mid-pipe and the cat back

no biggie haha i didnt mean the comment to be asshole like at all lol. basically im a gearhead in the offseason so yeah kind of a car nerd :-p

psssh.. if your gonna get an sti why not just go for an evo? ive driven both and the evo is so much better in every way. sti's are still a great car, but it cant compare to an evo.

Evo's may look a little cooler, but in my experience have many more problems than sti's. You can't really say a car is better just because you have driven it around a lot. It basically just comes down to preference. And I personally like the way sti's drive more than evo's.

im probably going to end up with a mid to alte 90s saab 9000. 2.4 liter 4 cylinder with a turbo, 5 spd manual, front wheel drive. doesnt sound overly special but my dad had one a few years ago and with snow tires on it we never had a problem getting through anything. 30 mpgs highway too.

both sti's and evo's are relatively problem free for what they are. and yes some people may like the way the sti drives more because its more comfortable and easier to drive. but when it comes down to performance the evo is much better.
