Winter campground in Bozeman or Big Sky?

Does anyone know of any campgrounds open in the winter? Me and some buds bought the ikon pass and were planning on doing a road trip and hit big sky, jhmr, and various resorts in Utah. Were taking a truck and 18ft travel trailer and have found places to camp in Utah and Jackson, but cant find anything in Big Sky or Bozeman area. Any info on winter campgrounds or places we could just park and sleep for the night would be much appreciated.

According to big sky resorts website there is no camping allowed on any of their property or parking lots. Also the Bozeman KOA site says they open May 1st.

Many people sleep in their vans in the freeskier lot, I haven’t heard of anyone getting in trouble

Then I would use the Walmart parking lot. There's good food at the Grand Tree right across the street, so its basically glamping.

Planning on parking it at the jackson hole campground which is open year round.

And thanks for the tip on the freeskier lot we will for sure check it out. Although a 18ft trailer and roughly 18ft truck is way bigger than just sleeping in a van ya know so dont know how they would feel about that. We will check it out either way. Awesome to know you can camp at the Bozeman walmart. That's looking like our best bet if we get kicked outta the lot.

Is that fireside resort?? Lemme know what it's like I have friends with camper rigs coming later this year and they asked me if its worth the $60 a night
