yeah thats mainly poor choices, if i hadn't thought it was the most obvious song ever i would have put kids but i didn't i put something people wouldn't know so well but like just as much. I think a lot of people are going to feel robbed.

i'm not really pissed that my song didn't get picked, but wow, those songs are pretty horrible lol, i saw wayy more songs that looked much better than those

but i guess they have the footy and know what will fit best
 
Well it wont take much to beat last years soundtrack. But seriously, why not just throw in some Block Party track or Swollen members beat while your at it. A Killers song maybe? That would make for a super-original ski movie soundtrack.

I cant believe 'My Dick' even got honorable mention. To put Avalons top song on Sammys part last year and come back a year later with a song that sounds the same but is a step lower on the charts would have just been retarded.
 
sorry i won guys. i hadnt ever heard hilltop hoods in a ski movie/edit and thought it would be a good song for it. better luck next time guys, keep entering and your bound to win sometime(dont hold me to that, i never thought id win a contest)
 
hiltop hoods is fully legit for a ski movie, so is recapturing the vibe, i reckon the restrung version would be better but hiltop hoods are legit.

Hahaha. Everybody hates the music that was picked. Every song sucks especially for a ski movie. So not original. I hope PBP gets some serious negative feedback and chooses some good music next year. I'm not surprised that I didn't win but Bloodhound Gang - Fire Water Burn would have been so good for an edit.

1. Kids is the most overused song in edits that ive like ever seen besides some 4bi9 songs. You guys mine as well use Party and Bullshit.

2. Who said recapturing the vibe i hate you cuz i was gunna use that shit next year.

3. Hopefully it will be good to watch on mute

Don't know what to say guys, just started listening to MGMT a couple weeks ago, thought kids was really catchy. Got on NS, saw the contest, figured hey kids seems like it'd work. Next day I saw that thread saying that it was used in a trailer and some edits and was like "oh shit", no chance ill get picked now. Logged on and to my surprise it was somehow picked. Im not gonna take too much blame since its still a sick song, but hell, didn't realize it had been over used.
 
i actually thought i had a chance since no one knows the song i chose, it has a sick beat, and would have been great for an urban segment.

seriously pbp, im dissappointed, not that i didnt win, but that you chose songs that have been heard by many, many times, i wouldve liked to see something new. but nas? AZ? come on
 
I can officially say that thanks to this contest and the lack of originality by Poor Boyz Production I will not be purchasing any of this year's movies.
