Winner of the T-Shirt Design Contest!

cant say I like the rasta one too much.. ya its easy to make and probably cheap but I wont ever consider buying it, I kinda liked the boots one but not with that yellow.. if any Id buy the dino..

also I do think that the contests should stick to the rules that were posted and the ones that don't follow the rules don't be considered.. I mean Im sure some of these kids could have made their designs better but chose not to so as they could fit the rules. If we're ever still talking about this..
 
if it was just the trees and chairlift and not the paragraph this shirt would be really sexy. i want one like this
 
Honestly, I don't really love any of those designs. I wouldn't buy any of them either.

Make #2 a simple black shirt with white logo and white text on the back, and I'd jump all over it, but the rasta is so overused that it just ruins the shirt otherwise.

The dinosaur makes NO sense. The boot one is somewhat cool, but I don't see myself dropping coin for one.
 
I'm very upset that "winners" were chosen from entries that did not follow the rules of colors. Oh, so you could have used more than tow colors and still be considered? That's good to know when you slave away to try to make something cool using only two, and get frustrated when you can't do more.

KS design had some sweet ones, i don't quite get the winners. the dino is a cliche, the rasta one broke the rules, and the boots, though cool, have horrible colors. Let's stick to the ones who followed the rules next time. There shouldn't be one winner that obliged with two other winners that didn't. That's spitting in the face of the many of us who tried to make a good design with only two.

plus this guy had at least two or three shirts that I would have been willing to pay $20-25 for..
 
I basically stated this earlier but still agree 100%, I don't see why the simple rules for the contest were disregarded in choosing the winners...

 
The dino one is sick! I would have liked to see one of almostaskier's designs (the stars or the screaming tanner). Quazbotch had a sick one too, the one that looked like one of those Che Guevara shirts, but with pink and white stripes, shit was dope
 
I guess a lot of things will be cleared up when the actual shirts are printed, and I am stoked to see the other 2 or 3 Mous mentioned, cool contest, hopefully some things will be fixed next time, and hopefully the people who put so much work into this and didnt win wont be discouraged from participating next time~
 
Here is what I think:

It was bullshit that the rules stated you could only have two colors, and then two of the winners had more.

BUT, fighting on the internet is like competing in the special olympics. . .

Overall, I think it is great that the NS community is able to participate in these contests and whatnot, that actually mean something (kinda). It means a lot to me, as I am sure it does to other members of the forum, to be able to participate in these things. They are here for fun, they are here for our entertainment, lets not get worked up on stupid bullshit.

But yeah, the Rasta colored shirt is pretty dumb.

First one is artistic and original, someone spent time thinking about everything in that one.

2nd - rasta, need I say more?

dino is cool, but it whats its relevance? looks very amateur to me.
 
I don't really hate any of the shirts but i also don't love any of them. I think there were a few that were amazing and should have won. It would be sick if Newschoolers had a vote on a fourth shirt. Then Newschoolers could choose the shirt the majority wanted.
 
Haha, serioulsy? I'm sort of disappointed. I mean the first one is cool, but the rasta one? You've got to be kidding me. The second one just looks cheap IMO.
