WINNER NS Movie Cover

... there's a thread of the voting, you can count yourself if you think it was done wrong.
 
Is there a reason exactly why Collin Collins is on the cover? Is it just because it's a sick picture? I have nothing against Collin, he was my windells coach. Just wanna know why that was chosen.
 
haha naw dont worry, its just in the orig thread ivan was a choice...so he made his and it got to the final and didnt win....sorry if i was calling out the voting system, that was not my intention

Yeah, I was a little curious as to why it came down to the final two. I also think it was wrong for Aspen to whore the shit out of that thread. I know NS is good for swaying contests, but against your own members? Foul.
 
because in the first vote, it came down to a margin of about 2 votes between those two, i felt it was wrong for someone to win by two votes, which is why i had a final 2

 
Dave, ignore the monday morning quarterbackers. In a close race half of the people are not going to be happy thier candidate lost.

Some of those that are complaining above you know how NS works, they are so quick to complain now, but wouldn't or didn't campaign to sway the vote when it counted.

You are doing a fantastic job with this.

BTW I am curious, how many votes were cast in the final cover vote..

 
Even though it wasn't aimed at me, i'm claiming shoutout to Simon on the back cover was actually intended for me, therefore I somehow feature on the NS DVD. Sweet. Thanks Aspen
 
not to be a douche, but if you are an active member, then you should be checking the forums about once a day, plus it was stickied, we are on a tight deadline here and a lot of stuff to do, sorry if it seems rushed, but this is quite an undertaking
 
Collin is on the cover just because it's a dope ass picture, and because a friend of mine found it for me.

I "whored" myself out in the voting thread because I ACTUALLY WANTED TO WIN. I did my own campaigning. Simple, but then again Drew and swwbrdmilf don't like me. I don't care.

isn't an active member, as he doesn't check the site 7 days a week.

I'm in the same boat as Drew on this one. I didn't get a chance to vote

before it was over (not that it's a big deal, it's just a movie cover).

I also thought that it was particularly classless for Aspendukes to

repeatedly post negativity about the other cover to boost her chances

of winning. Just my humble opinion.

That being said I'm more than a little impressed at how quickly all this has come together, and I look forward to seeing the final result!
 
naaaaaa Cause Ivans artwork was dope and it was superior by itself, however IMO and others, I am not so sure it matched the content contained with in the cover as well as Aspens did.

I wonder, are those who are complaining actually looked at the edits submitted?

I expressed my feelings in the thread. I didn't FORCE anyone vote for my cover, but maybe I have the gift of persuasion.

Nothing personal, just I'm not quite sure how fair this was.
 
I am an active member in my eyes, but I didn't get to vote as I was away from a computer for 3 days and it went down during that.

Aspen, I don't like you so you can take that as part of the reason I'm posting now. Your cover sucks. The idea for the back was cool, but you made it suck. LIKE ZOMG I LOVE SIMON!

As for the guy that put the contest together, (Dave from Momemt skis?) thanks for all the time and effort you have been putting into the movie and contests revolving around it.

P.S. - Can we have her ridiculous thread in non ski gabber about drilling for oil in Alaska deleted since she has no fucking clue what she is talking about and it is just making the general population of NS dumber for believing her nonsense just because they want to see her tits?

 
Personally, I think the cover is a great representation of ns itself! Loud obnoxious colours, amateur in nature, chaotic, not stylish at all, represented by outlandish hype, all while resembling dragon ball z...

Seems perfect for newschoolers!
 
Front is pretty sick.

But the back is just ridiculous... I am not a 13 year old middle school girl. And for that reason, I will not buy the movie.

I greatly appreciate all of the effort Dave went into making this happen though, and by no means am I angry at the final decision, just a little disappointed. I also wish that the final voting was held over a longer period of time.

Also, I congratulate all of the kids that make (made?) it into the movie.

That would be a no. I was agreeing with one person about it reminding me of the Seven Sunny days cover. Then I said something along the lines of it becoming a great t-shirt.

Ivan is a professional in graphic arts and is very well known on NS. I just thought that NS could use some new blood.

I'm sorry that a bunch of you didn't get to vote, but people voted. The NS office is busy with YOUR movie. It was fair. It just happened to be that more people voted for my cover. No cheating at all.

i saw the second voting thread, and when i voted for #2 i said that it was half due to the fact that she whored the thread. aspen responded with "Is there something wrong with wanting it bad?"

No, there isn't. But that's like having someone look over your shoulder while you are voting on a paper ballot. It puts pressure on the voter. It might make them feel bad for not voting for you.
 
The results don't matter, it was still selfish, classless, and wrong.

only good thing about that cover is she chose an ill shot of collin, other than that it looks like someone threw up, but in a computer!!!!

It's not sad that you wanted it, it's sad that you were actually campaigning. You should have just left it, and let NS speak for itself. Rather than plague it with bullshit of "We need new blood - I really want this" crap.
 
There's nothing wrong with campaigning, and NS did speak for itself...they voted for me. I give props to Ivan, he has some of the sickest art around. In the end NS voted and the result is that I won.
 
i voted for this one. but the only reason i voted for it is because the actual picture is sick as fuck. but the more i look at it, the more i realize how you ruined that picture.
