Wine drinkers

haha this is hilarious; not even sarcastic. I don't love wine but if I had the money to spend i might delve into the whole ordeal more. with that said, I've worked in fine dining for a while so I can appreciate a nice wine. I can only really say that I like sauv blancs--surprisingly refreshing on a nice summer day.

This one's my favorite; hints of grapefruit are really nice in it:

I really like the story behind the name too: Captain Cook's true mission of searching for the southern continent of NZ/Australia was publicly displayed as a research mission to study Venus as it passed between the earth and the sun, which wouldn't happen again for over 100 years. while it turned out he would discover those places, everyone just thought he was out 'chasing venus.' kinda neat cause I think drinking wine with friends is all about stories and determining their degree of embellishment haha. plus everyone likes a good adventure.

slap the wine we deemed absolute shit and sold to box companies for next to nothing. probably has all sorts of strange cultures in it.

love wine. Reds mostly. My dad's a bit of a wine collector so I know a bit that i've learned from him but not a ton. I want to take a course though I think it'd be pretty interesting

No way dude! I bring wine to parties all the time. Its a great way to drink at a party, only one bottle to worry about (compared to six cans lets say) and you can slug it back much easier and more responsibly than hard liqour.

#1 favorite alcoholic drink

Show up to college parties with a bottle of wine and wine glasses hahaha

I'm a certified sommelier, and I also make my own wine in my free time. There is absolutely nothing weird about taking a nice sangiovese or zinfandel to a party. What's weird is if you show up with a bottle of Barbera or Dolcino. Truffle wines have no place at social gatherings.
