im gonna pick it up this summer. i sail alot and im strong and my parents have an old board so i think i could do it...start a cult up ill join

soooo much fun i do it on lake winnipeg every summer. people up there are crazy goodt hough.

 
Did a bit of windsurfing... then converted to kitesurfing... have to say kitesurfing is far more convenient to transport... but you have to be more picky with the wind you choose to go out in.

I do. It's funny how most windsurfers I've met also ski. The 2 best sports in existence. I can't wait for summer, I'm going to go sail Pistol River, Oregon and go to Maui. The cool thing about windsurfing is that it's hard to get injured. Knock on wood...

 
All the windersurfers also ski cuz there all from Hood River, which is like 30-40 min away from Hood.

 
i usually sail in the summer cause i can do it every day in the city and i wont contract aids from falling in the ammount that you do with windsurfing. still amazing shit tho my dad has a board from like teh late 80's with a sail almost as big as teh one on a laser

windsurfing is super sick. started like 5 years ago when some dude gave us some old 80's boards with big sails. unfortunately we snapped one of the boards 2 years ago and then someone stole the other board this past summer! fuck. anyone know where in the toronto area to buy new windsurfers?
