Yo does anyone know where i can get windows xp for free? Im cheap and dont feel like paying and my friggin windows 98 is pissin me off, so if anyone know where i can get xp for free,if u could tell me that would be chill....

if you want a new windows go with windows 2000 its the most stable windows ever. But if you want real stability go with linux

XP is stable, I have had 0 problems. I'm not sure where you can find it for free though.

it just sucks cause when u get it u have to update a lotta drivers....but it has most of them, its alright....windows 2000 i think is the best

 
windows 2000 is a little more stable. When you upgrade any OS you have to change drivers, but XP comes with almost every driver you could need. The only reason I have XP on instead of 2000 is because it looks so much better, and it has a lot of nice features that 2000 doesn't have. Once you go XP nothin else seems as good

u can get windows xp of kazaa thats what i did works for me... or send me $$ and i'll burn you a copy and mail it to you

 
Yeah, the only way that I know of to get XP for free is to burn a copy. Downloading works sometimes, but it's probably safer to get someone that you know to burn a copy.

i have xp, is that the colord one? i think i do on my parnents new computer. the computer is super nice, but i dont liek xp tht super much, the only thing thats cool is its audio and vidio stuff.

XP is pretty sweet. I didn't like it much when we first got it, but now that I'm used to it, I love it.

actually win2k isn't more stable...its pretty pathetic...but it is faster...like twice as fast in pipelining
