i think it's safe to say that the amount of copies of XP sold to people buying intel macs to the amount of intel macs sold will be about the same (if anything, the intel macs sold will be more than copies of XP sold because not everyone will be buying the computer to load XP on it).
now if you're talking TOTAL copies of XP sold (to regular XP users and those loading it on intel macs), then yeah, the amount of copies sold will outweigh the amount of macs sold, but that's an unfair compairson to make in this context.
and i'm not saying that windows can't do what osx can do - i did graphic design, video editing, and programming on my XP box, but it just gets to be a pain in the ass when photoshop shits the bed every five minutes and your system lags hardcore because of all the adware (that you didn't catch in your scans) bogging your system down and you have to reformat your hard drive every 6 months to avoid it. it comes down to reliability - windows is just prone to too much shit because it's a 20+ year old operating system, whereas osx as built from the ground up with security in mind.
