Windows movie maker

I know this isnt a good editing system and i plan on upgrading as soon as i can. But, in the meantime its what i will be using. so, does anyone know if its possible to make timelapses? i know your supposed to speed the clip up, and if it only can go so fast, save the clip and reimport it, but how do i speed clips up on WMM?

iv been trying to do that too, but i dont think you can on wmm. if any knows tho, that would be great

im not sure if it would work good but i think you just keep putting in more and more speed up effect thingys in it

1. put your clip in the timeline

2. right click and go to video effects

3. choose the speed up one

you can actually record it fast forwarding. like when you plug in your camera and click the manually record sections thing and hit start capture, hit fast forward on your camera. then you can speed it up from there if you dont think its fast enough
